Hi Sadia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I earned my MD in 1997 and pursued my dream of becoming a dermatologist despite many challenges. With the support of my parents and husband, I completed my postgraduate training in dermatology and practiced as a dermatologist in Lahore, Pakistan, for 15 years (2005–2019). Those years were deeply rewarding as I helped patients regain confidence in their skin and health.

In 2020, my family and I moved to the United States as permanent residents—right at the peak of COVID-19. Adjusting to a new country while supporting my three children through university, high school, and elementary school meant putting my own career on hold. Once my family settled, I began exploring opportunities to continue my medical journey here.

However, I faced significant barriers: my graduation year made me ineligible for U.S. residency programs, and even physician assistant pathways did not recognize my qualifications. Though disappointing, I refused to let my medical knowledge and years of dermatology expertise go to waste.

Determined to continue in the field I love, I earned my Aesthetician and Cosmetic Laser licenses and worked in a Med Spa to gain hands-on experience in the U.S. beauty and wellness industry. Soon after, I took the leap of faith and established my own practice—Skin Laser Aesthetic in Johns Creek.

Today, as CEO of my clinic, I provide advanced aesthetic and laser treatments, combining science, artistry, and compassion. My background in dermatology, coupled with expertise in modern aesthetics, allows me to deliver safe, effective, and personalized care to every patient who walks through my doors.
