Exploring Life & Business with Sharon Lezama of Oasis Nuvani Retreats & Services

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sharon Lezama.

Hi Sharon, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I began my journey by holding personal development classes, driven by a lifelong fascination with how the mind works. At the time, I was already leading a business consulting firm, which I continue to own today. While working with wonderful clients, I noticed a profound difference: some followed the blueprint they were given and achieved success, while others remained stagnant year after year. This observation inspired me to create personal development classes that would help individuals understand the reasoning behind their actions—their “why”—and empower them to move forward with clarity.

During this season, I had a dream in which the name of a retreat was revealed to me. At first, I did not know it would become a retreat, so I kept the name close to my heart for over a year, waiting to see where God would lead me. Then, in a single moment of inspiration, the vision unfolded. Within one to two hours, I was shown what the name meant, what the retreat would become, and how I was to accomplish it.

Today, I am blessed to host three retreats each year. We gather locally, travel to other states, and next year we will expand internationally for the very first time. My vision is to give attendees access to the world—spaces where they can explore, revise their life plans, and reset their journeys. Each year, the retreat has grown steadily, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to witness lives being transformed through this work

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey has been remarkably smooth, and I believe that is because the vision was given to me with such clarity and detail. What might be considered a challenge is, in truth, a blessing: ensuring that I have enough space to accommodate the steady growth of the retreats. Each year, attendance increases, and with that comes the joyful responsibility of securing venues that can hold the expansion. I make it a priority to finalize these arrangements at least six months in advance, so that every retreat is prepared for our guests.

We’ve been impressed with Oasis Nuvani Retreats & Services, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My work is rooted in empowerment, education, and transformation. As the founder of Oasis Nuvani Retreats, KFB Virtual Consultants, and Oasis Real Estate, I specialize in guiding individuals and organizations through growth, whether that’s personal development, business strategy, or property acquisition. What began with personal development classes has grown into retreats that help attendees reset their journeys, revise life plans, and explore new possibilities. We now host three retreats annually, traveling locally, across states, and soon internationally.

What sets my brand apart is the integration of psychology, faith, NLP & CBT Therapy, and practical strategy. With a background in business consulting and an M.S. in psychology, I bring both analytical rigor and emotional intelligence to every session. I am known for creating structured, actionable frameworks that help people not only understand the “why” behind their actions but also move forward with clarity and confidence. I have created a platform for results to manifest.

Brand‑wise, I am most proud of the steady growth of Oasis Retreats. Each year, attendance increases, and with it, the impact deepens. Our retreats are not just events; they are experiences designed to transform lives, blending professional insight with spiritual grounding.

I want readers to know that my organizations are built on vision, resilience, and service. Whether through retreats, consulting, or real estate guidance, my mission is to provide spaces where people can grow, reset, and thrive. We are committed to excellence, compliance, and care, and we believe that transformation is possible when wisdom, understanding, and knowledge come together.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
When I first started in business many years ago, I didn’t have a blueprint. My husband recognized my passion, but I lacked resources. The advice he gave me was simple yet profound: create the resource that you yourself need. It was the best guidance I could have received at the time, and it shaped the way I approached entrepreneurship.

Long before “content creation” became a mainstream concept, I was creating materials to support myself & others. I would drive to local businesses, collect addresses, and personally invite them to business meetups. Each invitation was handwritten and mailed, a practice that may seem old‑fashioned now, but it reflected the dedication and personal touch I believed in.

My advice to those just starting is this: if you truly believe in your business, pursue it wholeheartedly—but always be prepared. Preparation is the key to sustainability. Study your craft, grow with it as it grows, and if that means pursuing further education in the resource you are offering, do it. Stay knowledgeable, stay persistent, and let your passion guide you toward building something lasting.
