I am the Her of “Her Open Bible,” a mission inspired by God to encourage women to read, learn, and live the Bible. My journey began quite differently than what you might expect. I didn’t grow up in the church. My relationship with Christ started in my 20s, after I met my husband. It was during this time that I found Christ, and a profound hunger for Him and His word sparked within me—something I never imagined could happen.
As I dove deeper into my faith, I realized how challenging it could be to navigate the Bible and understand its teachings, especially without a background in church. I often felt overwhelmed and wished for a community or resource to guide me. This longing led to the creation of “Her Open Bible.”
The mission of “Her Open Bible” is to be what I needed at the start of my journey—a supportive and nurturing space where women can come together to explore the Bible without feeling intimidated. I wanted to create a community where women could feel safe, inspired, and empowered to delve into God’s word.
Starting this mission was not something I planned or chose for myself. It was a path that God led me to and continues to sustain me in. One of the ways God has uniquely equipped me for this mission is through my gift of creativity. I use this gift to design apparel and Bible essentials for women, providing them with beautiful, meaningful items that encourage their faith journey. These creations are more than just products; they are tools to inspire and remind women of God’s love and promises.
I’ve been blessed to witness the incredible transformations in the lives of the women I’ve encountered. Each story of faith and growth reinforces my commitment to this mission. “Her Open Bible” is more than just a platform; it is a testament to God’s guidance and provision. My desire is to help women open their Bibles and discover everything that God has in store for them, without fear or hesitation. I am passionate about sharing His word and seeing lives transformed through His love and wisdom.

The journey with “Her Open Bible” has been deeply rewarding, but it hasn’t always been smooth. Like any meaningful endeavor, it has come with its share of challenges and struggles.
One of the initial struggles was overcoming my own feelings of inadequacy. Not growing up in the church, I often felt like I wasn’t equipped or knowledgeable enough to lead a mission centered around the Bible. There were moments of self-doubt and fear, wondering if I was the right person for this calling. However, each time I questioned myself, God provided reassurance and guidance, reminding me that He equips those He calls.
Another significant challenge was finding the balance between my personal life, faith journey, and the demands of starting and growing “Her Open Bible.” Balancing family responsibilities with the mission’s needs required careful time management and often meant making difficult sacrifices. There were times when it felt overwhelming, but leaning on God’s strength and seeking support from my community helped me navigate these periods.
Financial constraints also posed a struggle, especially in the early stages. Funding the creation of Bible essentials and apparel, maintaining the platform, and organizing events required resources that weren’t always readily available. There were moments of uncertainty about how to sustain the mission financially. Yet, through faith and perseverance, God provided in unexpected ways, opening doors and connecting me with generous supporters who believed in the vision.
Despite these challenges, each struggle has been an opportunity for growth and deeper reliance on God. The obstacles have taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of community. They have also reinforced the purpose of “Her Open Bible” and the impact it can have on women’s lives.
The road hasn’t been smooth, but it has been purposeful. Every hurdle has shaped “Her Open Bible” into a more robust and faith-driven mission, continuously reaffirming that with God’s guidance, we can overcome any challenge.

One major trend is the increasing integration of digital platforms with traditional in-person gatherings. While we have primarily focused on building a strong online community, we recognize the immense value of face-to-face interactions. In the future, we aim to host in-person meetups and conferences, creating opportunities for women to connect, share their journeys, and build lasting relationships. These events will complement our existing online presence, providing a holistic approach to community building.
As the industry evolves, there is a growing demand for specialized, niche communities. Women are seeking resources and support tailored to their specific life stages and experiences. “Her Open Bible” is committed to addressing these needs by developing targeted programs for young mothers, professional women, college students, and more.
