Hi Shontta, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
Hello, My name is Shontta Allen the founder and owner of Show&Tell Cleaning Service LLC. I’m originally from Washington D.C. I have been living in Atlanta for 12 years. I used to always come to Atlanta to visit family, and fell in love with the south. When I moved here I opened up a business in the mall, then I decided to get into the cleaning business, it’s something I like to do so I said I’m going to turn this niche I have in cleaning into a business. I have been in business for 7 years now, I have been working very hard over the years to build my clientele. My company has been very successful in my community and the Metro Atlanta Area. I have a large clientele due to referrals and word of mouth and I’m extremely Grateful.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
In the beginning it was challenging because working my business in the mall, I was used to customers coming to me, now I have to create my own clientele. I started doing alot of marketing and working hard to build a name for my company. The clients I would service were extremely pleased, they would refer me to their family and friends.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My company specializes in Residential and Commercial Cleaning. We are known for being professional and having good service, What sets us apart from others is, We are not just in the cleaning business, but in the servicing business to build a work and client relationship.I’ve come a long way building my company, and i’m proud of having clients that gave me a chance 7 years ago that i still have today. We offer different cleaning packages that will accommodate your needs. We are flexible to any schedule.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Well, risk can be challenging, I made a risk when I relocated here from Washington D.C. Where I was born and raised. I was already established in business, I was managing operations of a family business. I was doing that for so long I wanted a change of pace, so I started over when I moved here. I used the tools I had from running my family business into starting my own business.
