Hi Sierra, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
As a mother and entrepreneur, I’ve spent many years building businesses and chasing big goals. But one thing I realized along the journey is that some of the most special moments happen during creative experiences with our kids. I wanted to create a space where families could slow down, connect, and create memories together.
Princess & Sweets started as a vision between me and my daughters. We wanted to build something magical — a place where kids could express their creativity, celebrate special moments, and feel like they are part of something fun and inspiring. What began as an idea quickly grew into a creative experience studio for kids and families where guests can make plushies, create slime, design custom items, and celebrate birthdays and special events.
Our goal has always been bigger than crafts. We wanted to create a place where kids can imagine, create, and build confidence, while parents get to be part of those memories.
Today Princess & Sweets has grown into a space that hosts workshops, birthday parties, family experiences, and community events. Seeing children light up when they create something of their own is the most rewarding part.
For me, this journey is about more than just business. It’s about legacy, creativity, and building experiences that families will remember for years to come. And the most beautiful part is that I’m building it alongside my daughters.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Entrepreneurship is rarely a smooth road, and my journey has definitely had its share of challenges.
Like many business owners, I’ve had to navigate uncertainty, financial risks, and the constant pressure of building something from the ground up. Balancing entrepreneurship while being a mother has also been a challenge at times. There are moments where you question if you’re doing enough in business while still trying to be fully present for your children.
Another challenge has been building a creative experience space from scratch. When you’re creating something unique like Princess & Sweets, there isn’t always a blueprint to follow. It takes a lot of trial, creativity, and persistence to turn an idea into something real that people love.
There have also been moments where things didn’t go as planned events that didn’t sell out, ideas that had to be adjusted, and the everyday learning curve that comes with entrepreneurship.
But every challenge has been a lesson. Those experiences helped me grow stronger as a business owner and more intentional about the experiences we create.
What keeps me going is seeing the joy on kids’ faces when they build their plushie, make slime, or celebrate a special moment in our space. Those moments remind me why I started Princess & Sweets in the first place.
Building something meaningful takes time, patience, and resilience and every challenge has been part of the journey.

We specialize in hands on creative workshops and experiences where children can build their own plushies, make slime, design custom items, and participate in themed creative labs throughout the year. In addition to workshops, we also host birthday parties, private events, school groups, and family experiences that allow kids to explore their creativity in a fun and inspiring environment.

One of the things we’re known for is our plushie making experience, where kids create their own stuffed animals from start to finish, make a wish heart, record their voice, and receive a birth certificate for their plushie. It’s a magical experience that kids absolutely love.
Another thing that makes our brand unique is that Princess & Sweets was built with family at the center. My daughters were part of the inspiration behind the concept, and that spirit of imagination and creativity is woven into everything we do.
What I’m most proud of is creating a space where kids feel excited, inspired, and celebrated. Watching children light up when they create something with their own hands is incredibly rewarding.
Our vision is to continue growing Princess & Sweets into a destination for creative experiences for families in Atlanta and beyond. Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something that might surprise people is that behind all of my businesses and creative ideas, I’m actually someone who deeply values peace, faith, and personal growth.
For many years I was constantly moving at a fast pace as an entrepreneur, building businesses and chasing big goals. But in this season of my life, I’ve really learned the importance of slowing down, protecting my peace, and making time for things that bring balance like spending time with my children, going to church, practicing wellness, and enjoying the simple moments in life.
Another thing people may not realize is how much of my inspiration comes directly from my kids. Princess & Sweets was inspired by my daughters and the experiences I wanted to create for them and other children. Seeing the world through their creativity and imagination helped me realize how important it is to create spaces where kids can express themselves and feel inspired.
At the end of the day, everything I build whether it’s a business, an event, or a creative experience is rooted in the idea of creating joy, community, and legacy for the next generation.
