Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Franklin.
Hi Stephanie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m the owner of Road To Riches Logistics. Formally known as Locked in logistics. I’m also the owner of VTR Official Training which was started after opening my trucking company that made 1 million dollars the first year in business. This journey started after I got divorced at the age of 25 which led me to be homeless. My son’s dad had just got into trucking so I asked him if I could drive for his company to make some sort of money, he agreed to let me. I started driving and lived on the truck as well as working. I made a lot of mistakes while driving because I didn’t know what I was doing. I landed a load going to California and decided to stay there because I officially had no home but I loved the scenery. During that time I got on government assistance that helped me pay for a hotel and eventually, I got a job at the dealership that would continue to take care of my stay.
During that time I researched everything I needed to know in order to be successful while driving (how to book loads, how much to book loads for, etc) because I wanted to try again the right way. Once I learned, I started paying for everything I needed to get my company started and as soon as I did, I was laid off from work. Not knowing how I’d survive. I was able to get on unemployment and used those funds to finish paying for my company to get started and once I did, I got back on the road. At the time my son was eight and I couldn’t stay on the road with him so I made a Facebook status asking if I paid $5000 weekly would someone be willing to drive. I got nine drivers from that post. The first month we made $87,000. We continued on to earn 1 million the first year from all of the sacrifices made. Once people noticed how much could be made they were asking for me to teach them. Which birthed VTR (Vision to Reality)official training. We went on to make 100k in 2021 from that company alone. My story was proof that a high school dropout that was divorced young and homeless could rise from poverty by trusting in god and making the right moves. You don’t need thousands of dollars or a college background and supporters to become successful just a plan
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it was not smooth. All the while I was in a relationship dealing with physical abuse, mental abuse, homelessness, having to send my son away to live with family, laid off from my job when I couldn’t afford to be and so much more. I had a vision and I couldn’t let nothing stop what I had planned.

I, Stephanie Franklin am the owner of Road to riches logistics where we offer dispatch services to owner-operators and I’m also the owner of VTR official training where we teach you how to start your own company as I did and generate 6 figures your first year. I Specialize in dispatching owner-operators (which makes you your own boss) and I teach those who aspire to be a six-figure business owner how to start through the path of trucking. I’m most known for my story where people seen me a woman who dropped out of high school in 9th grade, divorced at 25 and homeless and while in an abusive relationship started a company and rose from the ashes. I call my story the Phoenix. I rose from the Ashes. Where the average person would think there was no hope in my situation I knew I did because I had a plan. In my case life experience was my teacher and to make it easier I decided to offer my services to help others who are ready to take their lives to the next level no matter what they were facing. Not only do I teach you how to be your own boss that creates other bosses but I teach you how to keep the faith in the face of adversity, how important your faith in your plan is and how far you can go with it. Any big plans?
I plan to expand vtr into not only a company that teaches trucking but to teach you how these same principles apply to any business that you open.
