Exploring Life & Business with Stephanie Hunt of The Savvy Peach Creative Co.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Hunt.

Hi Stephanie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always been drawn to the creative side of business. My background is in graphic design and marketing, and over the years, I have worked with executives across various industries—from technology and hospitality to real estate and nonprofits. But when I started The Savvy Peach back in 2012, it wasn’t with a big business plan in mind. Honestly, it began as a way to help pay for diapers for my firstborn. I wanted the flexibility to work from home, use my skills, and still be present for my family.

What started as a handful of freelance design projects grew steadily as I realized businesses needed more than just a logo or flyer—they needed a creative partner who could also understand strategy, messaging, and how all the pieces fit together. That vision drove me to grow The Savvy Peach from a freelance operation into a full-fledged business.

Today, what began at my kitchen table has evolved into a creative studio that works with start-ups, nonprofits, and even global corporations. We help businesses bring their ideas to life through design, branding, websites, and organic social media. At its heart, The Savvy Peach has always been about being savvy, resourceful, and strategic—rooted in creativity but focused on relationships and results.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not—it has definitely not been a smooth road. Owning a business is not for the weak, but it has also been the most rewarding part of my career. Like many small businesses, The Savvy Peach was severely impacted by COVID. Practically overnight, we lost more than half of our client base. To keep the doors open and continue providing for my family, I stepped into a corporate role while still running the business on the side.

It was a season of survival, but it taught me a lot about perseverance, resourcefulness, and what it truly takes to keep a dream alive. Coming out of that, I had more clarity than ever before about the kind of business I wanted to build. Today, we’re not just back—we’re larger than ever and growing rapidly. That period of struggle ultimately laid the foundation for the strength and stability we have now.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Savvy Peach Creative Co.?
The Savvy Peach Creative Co. is a full-service creative studio that helps businesses of all sizes—from start-ups to global corporations—bring their ideas to life through design, branding, websites, and organic social media marketing. What we’re most known for is our ability to blend strategy and creativity. A lot of agencies can create something that looks beautiful, but we focus on making sure every piece of design, copy, or content actually solves a business problem and supports growth.

We specialize in being an extension of our clients’ in-house teams. Many of our partners come to us because they don’t just need a designer—they need someone who understands the bigger picture, who can step into their world, and who can deliver work that feels like it came from inside their company. That collaborative, strategic partnership is what sets us apart.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the trust we’ve built. We’ve gone from starting as a one-woman freelance operation to now working with national brands, global corporations, nonprofits, and local businesses alike. Our work has been recognized for its versatility—we’ve created everything from large-scale brand campaigns and product packaging to social media calendars and websites. At the end of the day, though, I want readers to know that The Savvy Peach is rooted in relationships. We care about the success of the businesses we serve, and we put our creativity to work so they can focus on what they do best.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
First and foremost, all credit goes to my Lord and Savior. When I made the leap to turn The Savvy Peach into my full-time career, I asked God to be my business partner. I prayed that He would open the doors that needed to be opened and close the ones that weren’t meant for me. That prayer still guides me every single day, and I truly believe His hand has been in every step of this journey.

Second, my husband Brandon deserves so much credit. He has believed in me and in this vision longer than I even believed in myself. From the very first time I mentioned turning my freelance side hustle into something larger, he was the one cheering me on and reminding me I could do it.

And then, of course, my kids—Wyatt and Rhett. They are my ‘why.’ They love to brag about their mom’s business, and they’ve learned to be flexible when the laptop comes along to the ballpark. They are also the first to remind me what’s most important and to lift me up on the tough days. Their support and joy keep me grounded and motivated.

I also want to thank my family and friends who have used The Savvy Peach services, prayed alongside me, encouraged me, and shared my business with the world. And a special shoutout goes to the Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders and Cary Coleman for being my longest-running client. Cary was there when this was just a side hustle, and his encouragement, prayers, and consistent business have played a huge role in shaping The Savvy Peach into what it is today.
