Today we’d like to introduce you to Steven Nunez.
Hi Steven, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My story actually starts at 15 years old when my cousin Ramon “Zon De Leon” Liranzo Invited me to my first nightclub in Gwinnett County, GA. He noticed my natural charisma and asked me if I would be interested in promoting. Through him, I was able to experience and fall in love with the music scene from concerts to the recording aspect. Flash forward to 2019 about 10 years later, I had just moved back to Georgia after my mother passing away in 2018. The army was able to relocate me to Fort Gordon, GA. During this time I am reconnected with an old friend Jorge “Túnez” Romero. See, before I deployed to Afghanistan in 2017, me and Túnez had talked about how he was in the process of doing his first concert, an artist who I think the whole world knows now, Bad Bunny. I remember telling him and my wife how I would love to have been a part of that business. We sat down and we came to the agreement of doing our first event together. The artist we choose was Rauw Alejandro. I was already a big fan and I think we both could see the potential in Reggeaton’s first artist who was also a dancer. The day of the show came, January 24, 2020, and we had sold out giving Rauw his first solo major sold-out show in the USA. After this, I started to focus on my other passion which is the management and development of artists. At that time I had my first artist Yeiii. These two events created my company Los Bravos Inc.
Flash forward Nov 2020 we are in the mix of a pandemic, Covid 19, and shows have been shut down. We were contacted by Believe music hall, the venue we used for Rauw Alejandro. They had a contract for an artist called Justin Quiles but were having some contract issues with person they used to book him. I was able to fix the issue and they offered to hire me and Tunez to run the show. During that summer me and Tunez had agreed we needed a 3rd partner and Tunez brought the finale member of our Sobeteo Team, Saul “DJ Noise” Herrera. Together the three of us were able to conduct one of the first major sold-out shows during the pandemic. Which we were able to sell out in 14 days. This was the birth of our joint venture Sobeteo.
Since then I have had the opportunity to provide Atlanta and other cities like San Antonio, Texas with some of its biggest Latin concerts and events including, Dalex, Baby Rasta Gringo, Jamsha and Barbie Rican, EIX, Eladio Carrion, Lyanno, Rauw Alejandro again two more times. Not to mention the growth in the number of artists I manage and have accomplished so much with YEIII, FLA, Pumitah, Lirici$T, and most recently and my current project the Group Mucho Info. This is also thanks to the people who support especially my wife, Joselyn, who without her support and sleepless nights as well I couldn’t do all of this.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been easy, from doing business deals with the wrong people to being pushed away because I was looked too young to be accomplishing so much. Not all shows have always gone the way we wanted. I’m the first to admit not all shows have sold out. That doesn’t mean they weren’t a good learning tool or a way to make relationships within the business.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Los Bravos & Sobeteo?
Los Bravos INC is both my marketing company and artist management company. While Sobeteo is our promotion company.
Los Bravos Inc: Specializes in the management And development of Latin artists. I’m known for being a key part in the growth of some of Atlanta’s top upcoming Latin artists & DJ. Two name a few Pumitah “Known for his Atlanta club banger Devin Booker” and recently Mucho Info who has exploded in the underground Latin Scene is reggaeton’s first-ever Latin boy band. What sets me apart is that my company also works as marketing company for major artists so many of my artists have had the opportunity to open for some of Reggaetón‘s biggest artists in some of Georgia’s top concert venues. What I’m most proud of besides the growth in each artist individually would have to be the opportunity to shed light in the potential of music talent in the city of Atlanta not just for hip hop but for Latin music artists as well. What I want people to know is rather you reach out to Los Bravos Inc for either management or marketing that you are getting support from not just a company dedicated to everyone it services but that you are getting a friend and family member in whatever it is you are doing. I’m also proud to say as a current US Army Solider who has been in the Service now eight years you are also supporting a veteran own business.
Sobeteo: Specializes in Concert and party promotions. We are most known for providing some of Atlanta’s top Latin concerts and its own once a month party, Cueva. We are most notably known for our work with Rauw Alejandro we have been blessed with the opportunity to work all 3 of his events in the city. I think the event I’m most proud of would be a tie between Rauw Alejandro sold out at the Atlanta Colosseum or at the gas out Arena. I want you to know that when you come to a sobeteo event, you are coming to one of the most dope life experiences you will have as far as concerts and parties go.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
It surprises a lot of people to know I’m actually an active duty Non Commissioned officer in the U.S Army “SSG Nunez Steven”.
