Hi Synita, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a 2x entrepreneur and female founder of 88TH & Co Consulting and Bedrock Intimates.
Born in Miami and residing in Atlanta, I developed a love for business from a very young age which led me to create 88TH & Co. Consulting in 2021.
88TH & Co. Consulting is a full-service business consultation firm that seeks to empower entrepreneurs with strategic frameworks which encourage business development and sustainable growth.
I believe everyone is born with a unique set of skills that, if applied in the right business framework, can be used to positively influence the lives of their communities – locally and globally.
The firm offers both in-person and virtual consultations where our primary goal is to be a powerful change agent to our clients.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The decision to officially start 88TH & Co. Consulting was not an easy one to come to. I was reluctant at first.
For years, I consulted friends and family, unaware of the value it added to their professional and personal lives. I had to spend a lot of time getting clear on frameworks that would add consistent value to new and existing businesses.
I began to see significant transformations take place. The fulfillment my friends and family experienced from taking an idea and activating it into a thriving business brought me an equal amount of joy.
I knew then, 88TH & Co. Consulting would be created.
We’ve been impressed with 88TH & Co. Consulting, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
88TH & Co. Consulting is a full-service business consultation firm. Our mission is to increase economic opportunity within underserved communities by coaching entrepreneurs to effectively apply frameworks that develop and grow sustainable businesses.
As Principal Consultant, I help business owners through the ideation, development, launch, and growth phases of activating a new business or product.
We specialize in business planning and strategic partnerships, with a suite of full-service supports in branding, marketing, and management.
Our ability to turn a client’s passion into profit with a specific business framework is the crown jewel to our organization.
I am most proud of the national reach we have been able to achieve through full-service virtual consultation. While we are honored to call Atlanta our Headquarters, 88TH & Co. Consulting has serviced clients from California to New York.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
I was age eight when my cousins and I set up our first lemonade stand. I consider this my first day in business and my favorite childhood memory.
We popped up the stand in from of my childhood home with three lawn chairs and snacks we felt would complement the lemonade. I still remember the sign, as cars drove by, that read “Ice Cold Lemonade $1.00”. Advertising at its finest, right?
Small but sure, we turned a profit that day and I was ecstatic! I can always count on this memory to demonstrate that when your natural passions are applied with a strategy, you can create a thriving business and add value to your community.
I still carry this memory of excitement, passion, and fulfillment into working with the clients I serve at 88TH & Co. Consulting today.
