Hi Taneesha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ever since I can remember, my family has always gone on summer vacation. Every year I can remember over 30 of us driving to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina from Atlanta. As I got older, I continued to travel, it just felt like it was in my blood. So finally at the age of 31 after various college degrees and certifications, there I was only content. I realized traveling was my passion. Now it’s time to turn your passion into income. So becoming a travel agent made perfect sense and Lovely Visions Travel Agency was born. After all the years of visiting other states and countries, I am able to book great vacations for other people.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The greatest challenge is establishing clientele. This meant a lot of marketing and branding. The branding part is most important. You want to be professional and trustworthy so they will be comfortable with entrusting your company with their dream vacation. On the marketing side, I am constantly posting travel deals, creating groups to giveway trips and creating polls to get followers engaged. I created a Facebook group called Mimosa Memories. This is a special group for those foodies 21 and over who loves to travel. My goal is for this group to be a directory of good brunch spots around the world. Post pics of mimosas, cocktails and good food and share your experiences. I post travel deals along with great food and drinks in that exact area.
The travel industry is also constantly changing. There is always something new to learn. Luckily, I have a great Director who is always there with great advice and weekly meetings are available.

Lovely Visions Travel Agency is a travel agency that provides all the needs for your vacation. Flights, charter flights, hotels, cruises, concert tickets, tours and excursions, car rentals, transport from airport to hotels and trip insurance all over the world. I am here to save you money and time. As a travel agent, through my host agency Inteletravel, I have great discounts with our preferred partners. I always tell my clients “I would never book you a flight or hotel that I wouldn’t buy.”
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I would always recommend booking through a travel agency. During these times surrounding covid and the travel restrictions, travel agents are up to date on policies and restrictions around the world. We are constantly getting updated on changes. We have visited these countries and have a little more first-hand experiences in these places and work with others who have great experiences as well.
