Exploring Life & Business with Tiana Thompson of Le’ Intuitive Boutique

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiana Thompson.

Hi Tiana, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started out selling fur slippers. I always had a passion to be an entrepreneur.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been an easy road it is still a struggle at times I but I believe if I stay consistent and work hard, it will pay off but the struggles are definitely still there being a black 21 years old from New York where it isn’t a lot of real genuine support mainly in the generation I was born in and in a market where not a lot of people are selling these products that I offer.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I’m an online-based boutique. I started in April of 2019. I am known for my genuine fur coats and fur slippers. I think that what is really sets me apart from others. I grew up watching my great grandmother who was so flyyyy she would wear extravagant outfits everywhere she went even if she was grocery shopping she was going to be fly and that was really inspired me. I want people to feel rich when they wear my clothes feel fly and make them just feel good. Being in my own lane and being myself makes me proud I literally learn everything on my own I’m willing to invest whatever In myself because I know it’s going to pay off later.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I’m from New York. I was born there but my mom was in prison from 3 to 11 so during those years, I was raised by my grandma in Atlanta and I can say that the support in Atlanta and the support in New York are completely different. It is really hard to get genuine support in New York if there isn’t a lot of clout involved. People will literally not work with you if you don’t have a certain amount of followers; they won’t even give you the time of day. I always admired how Atlanta rappers come up and put the whole block on and all their friends come up with them. Everybody eats. These days everybody is in competition.
