Hi Tiffany, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Heyyy! I’m Tiffany Womack. Founder of Most Wanted Financial, a financial strategy firm. Growing up, I had the best of both worlds: my mom was a hustler in the streets, and my grandmother owned her own business. I ended up living with my granny so her business savvy won me over!! I moved to Atlanta (from Chicago) when I turned 21 and when I first got here, I HATED IT!! I literally cried every day…but to see Black people doing so well LEGALLY was the driving force that made me stay!! I got a “good” corporate job and was doing alright, but when a huge layoff cost me my gravy-position I learned right then “these-jobs-ain’t-loyal” and immediately began researching how to start my OWN business like my granny!!
So in 2005, I started my 1st company doing credit repair. I ended up making so much money that I was doubling my paychecks, and that Thanksgiving, I made the leap & quit my job!! But not without learning the ins & outs of the business credit world: it was my job to pay the corporate bills. I learned very quickly the business credit world was a huge market with not a lot of players so I also offered that service to new entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Fast forward to today, I own a multi-state tax franchise (#MostWanted) where I teach our agents not only the recession-proof income skill of personal and business tax preparation but also equip them with over 15 years of credit knowledge as well.
I also educate and consult our clients on the importance of building a solid business foundation on paper which includes properly setting up your business structure, building your business credit along with your personal credit to maximize business growth & opportunities.
Whew, I know that was a mouthful!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Noooo!! To say I’ve learned a lot over the years is an understatement. With my first business, I got so big and didn’t know about systems and automation that I failed terribly. I went back to work, but it didn’t take long for me to quit again (I was too grown for a one hour lunch)!!
It’s definitely made me a better businesswoman, but you know the saying, had I known then what I know now!! It’s true, it’s true!! Now I know when to stop & pivot if something isn’t working and I’ve also learned the importance of having a good, solid team!!

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The quality I feel is most important to my success is the passion to educate people. I’d rather teach you how to fish. Taxes aren’t going anywhere anytime soon, and neither is credit. When I teach you the game, you can keep it for your benefit or use it as an additional income stream!! There is never a shortage of clients…and as much as I’d like to think so, I can’t serve everybody; and that’s the beauty of it!! #LetsEat
