Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m from a small town called Aliceville, Al. Growing up hair has always been a part of my life, I had a passion for doing hair up until I had my beautiful twins John & Jaliyah. Jaliyah’s Magic is named after my daughter, which is whom inspired me to start our business. I started off just making my own products for my daughter & everyone always asked “What do you use on her hair, her hair is so long”, so I decided why not help others & provide them with something that will promote hair growth for them as well. God put the vision on my heart and I ran with it. I would literally dream about ingredients to put in my products & wake up to write them down. What was once just a dream for me has turned into my reality, within 6 days Jaliyah’s Magic has sold to 6 states. Jaliyah’s Magic is also in one of the Retail stores in Huntsville, Al called 50 Shades Of Pink. Jaliyah’s Magic will be a household brand name!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting Jaliyah’s Magic hasn’t been smooth sailing, but it was definitely worth it. Jaliyah’s Magic was supposed to launch in March 2022, but I always want things done the correct way so I don’t run into any bumps, in the long run, we didn’t launch until May 14, 2022. I can honestly say that I’ve run into more blessings than obstacles with starting Jaliyah’s Magic. What makes me wake up happy every day is knowing that I am helping women and children grow their hair naturally. Every day I am blown away by how many lives I am affecting and changing with my amazing beauty products.” “This is a total dream come true!”
