Willie Giles has always found his way behind the camera. From the early days of adolescence, he knew what path he wanted most. Filming on 8 mm and making home videos and movies with his friends in his neighborhood, he found himself directing performances at an early age. Willie has always been curious, open-minded, and very personable, so making connections in the industry and building a career for himself was natural.
Some of Willie’s earliest credits as a Director and a Producer led him to the realization that creating productions in their full breadth was his calling. Picture Perfect Production & Editorial was born in 2013 and has found a thriving foothold in the Atlanta commercial and theatrical scene ever since.
Giles has contributed to various documentaries, including ones spotlighting Don Cornelius as a “visionary, trailblazer, and cultural icon,” as well as “Be Inspired: The Life of Heavy D.” These hour-long specials garnered high praise upon airing on VH1 and BET networks. From 2009 to 2012, Giles served as the show and segment DP/editor and producer for the Soul Train Music Awards, a Comcast-owned BET production broadcast nationally.
Throughout his career, Willie’s projects have reached audiences through Showtime, HBO, BET, Fox, PBS, NBC Universal, the Discovery Channel, HGTV, the Food Network, MTV, VH-1, and Aspire TV. He has also contributed to endeavors for Tyler Perry Studios, Participant Media, Fox, BET, Disney, HBO, NBC, Showtime, and Turner Networks.
With Giles at the helm, Picture Perfect has worked with many reputable brands, hospitals, and charitable causes.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey hasn’t always been without its bumps, but I refuse to let challenges hinder my progress! My belief is in persisting towards your objectives, maintaining a positive outlook, and seeking solutions to surmount any hurdles. Our team takes great lengths to overcome the diversity disparity in our industry by proactively seeking talent that might not otherwise being granted opportunity. Our team prides itself on being open, kind, and accepting of one another’s differences. We are an inclusive bunch, and we feel it is a result of the struggles we have seen and experienced in the past.
