Kaimana, we loved learning your story, but I think our audience is going to appreciate learning about the product side of your story as well. So, maybe you can help bring everyone up to speed?
I am a huge lover of Jesus and Mother Nature and all things created by the Divine, so all of my designs come to me through my prayers and meditations. Many women and men come to me loving my designs and say they are the answers to their faith based jewelry prayers. I have been told many times, that my jewelry is not like their grandmother’s typical faith jewelry. Some of my designs are unisex and men love the cross bracelets as much as the ladies do. They are a favorite as well as my Chakra cross which I designed myself. People love them because they are unique and you will absolutely not see them coming and going.
What’s been the most exciting part of the journey of taking this product from idea to real life?
I was so excited when I realized I could take an idea and turn it into an actual product. That was my chakra cross which was an idea that came to me while I was praying. I am not an artist that draws so getting the idea from my brain to paper was a bit tricky, but I made it happen. Once I had that, I went looking for a manufacturer. I interviewed a few different ones who would work with me ethically and quickly and follow my vision correctly. When I finally had the cross in my hand, I cried with joy realizing that I can be and am a jewelry designer and now the sky is the limit for what I can bring into this world.
How do most people hear about your product?
I do traditional marketing, Facebook, Instagram, and my own website but also, my clients are my best and most beautiful billboards. When I or any of my friends wear my designs, we are always stopped and questioned about where the crosses and other designs came from. So word of mouth is becoming a very amazing way for me to get the word out and about.
What’s next on the product or brand roadmap?
Oh, I have so many amazing ideas on the vision board for 2025, rings, more crosses, bag charms and more. So many more faith based pieces will be released this year and in the future.
