Hidden Gems: Meet Alisa Rayford of Daisy & Associates

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alisa Rayford.

Hi Alisa, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was working as a Tax Accountant for a company I enjoyed. I decided to get a license because it was going to be my retirement career. I decided to get my real estate license and i was a dual agent for about a year and a half. I realized that I truly enjoyed being a realtor and helping people with their real estate needs. I felt I could be of value after working for many years in the mortgage industry.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not always been a smooth road. There has been a lot to learn. It was an adjustment trying to find the right way to run my real estate business that fit me. One of the biggest challenges was learning not to compare my business to others. I have met and worked with enough agents to know we all have our own set of obstacles in business.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Daisy & Associates?
I’m a realtor at Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners. I am very much a relationship realtor. It is my goal to build relationships that last and far exceed the closing table after every transaction. I am proud of the fact that when my clients and agents work with me and my team, they are getting a professional team who work hard to make the process of homebuying as easy as possible. We communicate through the process and we are accessible.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love the diversity in people and culture found in Metro Atlanta. With that comes the differences in living preferences as well. There is city vs suburban living, historic to modern, maintenance free living and traditional living. There is something for everyone.
Like most people, I’m not a big fan of the traffic.
