Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Williamson.
Hi Amanda, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I began making majorette uniforms in college for our band (North Carolina Central University), where I played trumpet. That transitioned into me trying my hand at ready-to-wear looks my senior year in college. After graduation was given the opportunity to place my designs in a store where they sold out. From there, I established the business, built my website and began designing full-time. My primary goal with Ennyluap was to always make women feel timeless. I was discovered by Vogue during my first year in business, which gave me the catalyst to push forward. From there, I grew the company and did my best to learn from larger design companies and study their stories. From there, I presented at NYFW, won the opportunity for my clothing to be in Belk department stores, was nominated for Forbes 30 under 30 and presented again in New York but this time under IMG Worldwide. After solidifying my business plan, I knew I would begin opening brick-and-mortar stores, which I began doing in 2019. Since then, I have also opened a leg of the company dedicated to the customer who isn’t into classic design, rather trendy and edgy looks. This curated label is called Victoria & Jane and is currently located in Lenox Square Mall, Atlanta.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Nothing about starting and owning a company is completely smooth, at least in my experience. I am always faced with “what next”. I feel it is important to grow but not too fast and not in the wrong direction. Having a clear vision and sticking to it no matter what has its challenges. In an industry where I am competing with multi-million dollar companies, I make it a point to always keep my foot in the door by any means necessary.
We’ve been impressed with Ennyluap and Victoria & Jane, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Ennyluap LLC is a full retail company offering our original luxury label, Ennyluap which is designed for the classic contemporary woman, and Victoria & Jane which is a curated ever-changing collection “for the girls who want to be seen”.

Persistence and the ability to research and learn.
