Today we’d like to introduce you to Ana Munoz.
Ana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey started in 2015, moving back from living in West Palm Beach, FL. I was looking to help my brother build his company in home flipping. Took Real Estate classes at the Keller Williams Lanier Partners office in Gainesville, GA. After I completed the courses, I did not have luck passing the state exam. Finally, after my 3rd attempt at taking the test, I passed. Three months later, I find out I’m pregnant with my first child. Super excited and nervous about it all, I made the decision to push myself and become successful in Real Estate. My first closing was in 2016, 7-8 months pregnant it was an amazing experience and the first time receiving a check of that amount. My 2nd closing was the life-changing closing where my clients were so full of joy and appreciative for my help with their first home purchase they cried tears of joy. It was then that I decided this is what I want to do. It took me two years to finally become a full-time Realtor because of the fear of going from steady paycheck to commission only. I’m happy to have gained that courage to make the change because now I get to be my own boss and make time for my baby girl and enjoy Life.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have been struggles, I had to learn that not all transactions are smooth. Some fall through and sometimes things that are out of our control happen and we no longer have the money to pay bills. One month I was negative $300 in my bank account but managed to make it through. I’ve learned that consistency is key and as long as I keep working things will fall into place.

Rent, buy or sell property for clients. Perform duties such as study property listings, interview prospective clients, accompany clients to property sites, discuss conditions of sale, and draw up real estate contracts.
