Today we’d like to introduce you to Angel Polite.
Hi Angel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I want to say my journey started when I was going through my divorce. I remember going on a 21 day Daniel Fast with the hopes that prayer and fasting would save my marriage… boy was I WRONG! Lol! Prayer and fasting saved ME. It moved me out of my own way & helped me cultivate the discipline and mindset that it was going to take for me to not only operate in my spiritual gifts but to survive the next phase of my life. (sidenote: Christianity is my foundation so along the way, I’ve always been able to chew the meat and spit out the bones of religion so my path has always been a spiritual one) Ok so, once I caught hold to how powerful the mind is and realized my personal power and inheritance from God, you know, really understanding who I AM… I started confidently walking in my power and sharing my gifts with those around me. (I’ve always been the “go to” person for advice and conversation) but because spirituality is such a taboo topic, I noticed that when I would post spiritual things on social media, instead of commenting under the post, people would ask their questions and have spiritually driven conversations with me in my DM & that was something that was always unsettling to me. Fast forward to 2018, a vision & the name Spiritual Clout came to me clear in a dream to hold space for those on their spiritual journey. Initially, I thought that meant just using my platform to create a safe space that my tribe could be comfortable exploring their Spiritual Clout (influence/power) and sell them some spiritual tools. Lol. I had no idea that creating that safe space included learning different healing modalities as well as sitting at the feet of my elders in the spiritual community, being of service and soaking up as much wisdom as possible in order to first facilitate my own healing.
Here I am today, Intuitive Healer, founder of Spiritual Clout, Kemetic Reiki Practioner, Healing Henna Artist and Spiritual Coach…
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey hasn’t always been a smooth road. At one point, I had began to feel stressed, overwhelmed and fearful of fully operating in my power OUT LOUD & IN FRONT OF OTHER PEOPLE. PEOPLE I DON’T KNOW. PEOPLE THAT ARE HARSH. PEOPLE THAT ARE COMMITTED TO NOT UNDERSTANDING ME OR MY PRACTICE. PEOPLE THAT ARE JUDGMENTAL. PEOPLE ON SOCIAL MEDIA!
Those things were the obstacles in the road for me. ME vs. ME. I HAD to deal with me before I could move forward.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Spiritual Clout and what is your specialty?
My business, my purpose… I am the founder of Spiritual Clout, a spiritual lifestyle brand that’s committed to spiritual transformation using different healing modalities, practical & magical practices as well as spiritual tools.
My purpose with Spiritual Clout is to hold space for and help melaninated women that are stressed, depressed, imbalanced and dealing with deeply rooted traumas to not only identify those traumas but to process them, heal from them and release their traumas in order to show up as their highest self with clarity and confidence.
My specialty is HEALING! That’s my superpower. In addition to being an intuitive healer, I am also a Kemetic Reiki Practioner, Healing Henna Artist and Spiritual Coach. As a healer, you have to be fluent in healing yourself before you can heal others and I’ve done the work. Correction…I’m consistently doing the work. So, the thing that sets me apart from others…like I previously spoke on when referencing my challenges, is I’ve facilitated my own healing and when I had blocks, I was open and willing to invest in myself and get the help that I needed for my healing so… I get it!!!! I overstand that feeling, I overstand that everyone can’t come with me on my journey, I overstand the isolation, I overstand the confusion, I overstand the hesitation, I overstand being misunderstood, I overstand the feeling of losing your sh!t, I overstand overwhelm, I understand that the only way out is through so I also understand the importance of shadow work. I had to face my own shadows before I could even attempt to encourage anyone else to face theirs so I REALLY GET IT!!! Lol. And because I get it, I understand what it takes to realistically come up out of that trauma-filled, overwhelming, stressful, empty, toxic space.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
You know what, seeing my people wake TF up and realize who they really are makes my heart smile! It’s like once they tap in, you can see the light bulb come on! That makes me happy! Lol
But when I’m not knee-deep in Spiritual Clout, I’m enjoying family time (however I can get it. lol) I also find happiness in working out, laughing or out in nature. I’m happy when I’m doing the things that makes me happy and those things vary.
