Hidden Gems: Meet Anna Choi of Cornerstone Realty Group LLC brokered by True Legacy Realty LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Choi

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story is deeply shaped by two of the most influential people in my life—my late mother and my husband, Ben. My mom immigrated from South Korea, leaving behind everything she knew to chase the American dream. She and my father arrived with only a few hundred dollars, but they had an unshakable belief in God and longed for a better future for my sister and me. They eventually started a business together, working tirelessly to create opportunities for our family. My mom is the epitome of hard work, resilience, and unconditional love. Every day, I strive to carry forward a piece of her dream through my own journey.

Then there’s Ben. We met when we were 16 and have been inseparable ever since. He has always pushed me to dream bigger and believe in myself, often before I even saw my own potential.

My career originally started in nursing, which felt like the perfect path because I’ve always known I wanted to help people. Nursing school is notoriously demanding, and after completing both my undergraduate and graduate studies in nursing, I felt like I could take on anything. The late nights, stress, and sheer exhaustion built a level of resilience in me that fuels my journey as an entrepreneur.

It was Ben who first encouraged me to explore real estate. Initially, I saw it as a way to purchase our own home, but I quickly realized that I loved helping people navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives. A home is more than just a place—it’s where life unfolds, memories are made, and futures are built. Having the right person guide you through that process makes all the difference. I truly love what I do, and that passion fuels me every day. But at its core, my work isn’t just for me—it’s for my family and our future.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. But looking back, I’m grateful for the challenges because they shaped me into the woman, mother, and entrepreneur I am today.

The hardest struggle I’ve ever faced was losing my mom two years ago. I was pregnant with our first son when she was diagnosed with brain cancer. Balancing her care while preparing for motherhood and managing my career was incredibly difficult. I had to step back from work to be there for her, and that experience reinforced just how much my family means to me. My mom and my family remain my greatest motivation to be the best version of myself every single day.

We’ve been impressed with Cornerstone Realty Group LLC brokered by True Legacy Realty LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My businesses are all about helping people. Serving others has always been my passion, which is why I’ve built my career and businesses across multiple industries. As a nurse practitioner, real estate agent, and insurance agent, I have the privilege of helping families in some of the most important areas of their lives—health, home, and financial security.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect with people in different ways. My brand isn’t just about what I do—it’s a reflection of who I am. I’m the friendly neighborhood mom, nurse, real estate agent, and insurance expert all wrapped into one. I’m proud of how much work it took to get here, and I’m grateful for the ability to use my skills to support families in meaningful ways.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Ambitious, loud, and energetic—some things never change! I’ve always been a people person, but I didn’t truly realize how extroverted I was until I married my introverted husband.

I knew from a young age that I wanted to help others. That natural caretaker instinct has been with me for as long as I can remember. My parents’ hard work also instilled a deep sense of responsibility in me early on. I felt a strong drive to succeed—not just for myself, but for them.

I’ve always been a go-getter with big dreams. Music was (and still is) a passion of mine, and I used to joke that in another life, I’d be a K-pop star or a pro tennis player. My mom was strict about me not playing sports—she was afraid I’d get hurt and miss school—but I’ve always had an athletic spirit at heart.

Growing up with hard working parents meant I often explored the world on my own. I loved the freedom, but I also longed for my parents to be there cheering me on. As an adult, I understand the sacrifices they made to build a better life for me. But I promised myself that no matter how busy I got as a business owner, I would always be present for my kids. That delicate balance between ambition and family is what drives me every single day.
