Hi Antoine, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am a Returning Citizen Entrepreneur. I served 21yrs in prison from 1994 to 2015. I was living in Maryland upon my release. Where I did warehouse work for 5yrs. I received an injury on my job in 2019. I had surgery and this kept me out on workmans comp a year into the pandemic awaiting a 2nd surgery. None of the medications were helping and this led me to seek Holistic pain remedies which led me to essential oils and the many benefits of aromatherapy. On July 8th my lawyer called me to tell me that my job was firing me. Later on that night God placed this company on my heart and we haven’t looked back. We relocated to Atlanta in 2021 to open our first store at the New Black Wall Street Market in Stonecrest Ga.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a hard road but a fun experience. Most of the struggles came from relocating to metro Atlanta. Adjusting our family to the area while running a business. Business wise the struggles are receiving proper access to capital.

How do you define success?
Success is constantly becoming better than the person you were yesterday.
