Hidden Gems: Meet Antwanette (Anne) Dailey of Leap Forward Autism Services, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Antwanette (Anne) Dailey.

Hi Antwanette (Anne), please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Leap Forward Autism Services started from my background as a teacher and my work supporting children with autism and their families in real-life settings, especially in daycares, homes and schools. I saw how difficult it was for families to get consistent support where it actually mattered most, and how many parents felt overwhelmed trying to navigate services on their own. I also saw staff burning out because the systems around them weren’t built to support sustainable, quality care.

I started Leap Forward by working directly with families myself, providing services in homes and schools, and building the company one step at a time. My vision was to create a practice that truly meets families where they are, both literally and emotionally, while also creating a supportive environment for the professionals doing the work.

Today, Leap Forward Autism Services partners with families and schools to provide personalized, in-home and school-based support that helps children grow meaningful skills and helps parents feel more confident and supported. That mission of meeting families where they are continues to guide everything we do.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but it’s been a very purposeful one. Like any growing business, there were learning moments around building systems, hiring the right people, and balancing growth with quality. Each challenge pushed me to become a stronger leader and to be more intentional about how Leap Forward operates.

One of the biggest lessons was learning how to grow thoughtfully, making sure families always received consistent support while also building a strong, supported team. Those moments taught me how important communication, structure, and values are in sustaining a mission-driven organization.

Every challenge ultimately helped shape Leap Forward into a stronger, more resilient company. The journey has been full of growth, clarity, and refinement, and I’m proud of how far we’ve come because of those experiences.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Leap Forward Autism Services, LLC?
Leap Forward Autism Services is a family-centered organization that provides in-home and school-based support for children with autism and their families. We specialize in meeting families where they are and helping children build skills that matter in everyday life, whether that’s communication, independence, social connection, or emotional regulation.
What sets us apart is how intentional we are about relationships. We prioritize clear communication with families, consistency for children, and strong support for the professionals doing the work. Families know they’re not just receiving services, they’re gaining a partner who truly cares about their child’s progress and their experience.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the culture we’ve built. Leap Forward is known for being compassionate, dependable, and ethical. We move with purpose, not rush, and we focus on sustainable growth so quality never suffers. I want readers to know that Leap Forward is a place where families feel seen, supported, and confident that their child is receiving care rooted in dignity and respect.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What I love most about our city is the sense of community. There’s a real spirit of connection here, especially among families, educators, and small businesses. People are willing to show up for each other, collaborate, and support local organizations, and that’s something I truly appreciate.
What I like least is that access to resources isn’t always equal across neighborhoods. Some families still have to work much harder than others to get the support they need, which can be frustrating to see. But it also motivates the work we do, because it reminds me why it’s important to keep expanding services and meeting families where they are.
