Asia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started by doing ancestral veneration. A lot of what I know and do now came from me asking my ancestors questions to know myself deeper. They gave me a lot of answers and even recipes. From those recipes, I experimented a lot and fell in love with the creation process. From there – I realized I had something I wanted to share with the world.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been waves of ups and downs. Sometimes you are doing amazing on sales and outreach and then sometimes you are going through transitions in life and business isn’t the spotlight of your life. But no matter what, I create.

Natty Natural is a holistic experience when it comes to self-care. Currently, we have hair care products. What sets me apart from other hair care lines is that I care about the intention being placed into my creations, my creations come directly from a source, and I’m not limiting myself to fitting into any boxes when it comes to my creations.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My biggest supporter for my business would have to be my business partner, Quamain also known as Lxve (love) Aftr. He’s put a lot of drive behind me and my outreach. He was a huge push behind getting my product into stores in Atlanta. I’m currently in Royal Health World in Atlanta and I couldn’t have done that without his help and involvement.
