Barnesha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am a skilled and accomplished handywoman and a native of Decatur, Georgia, whose journey has been anything but ordinary. During the early years of my educational experience, I discovered a unique gift the ability to use my voice as a powerful instrument of expression. Encouraged by devoted mentors who recognized my potential, I began exploring the art of music, pouring my emotions, thoughts, and life experiences into every lyric and performance.
Throughout my young adult years, I performed and wrote music passionately, auditioning and appearing at a wide array of venues while connecting with influential individuals who helped shape my path. I was on what seemed to be a clear road to success, surrounded by excitement and glamour, yet deep within there remained a quiet desire for something more meaningful. As time passed, I began to wrestle internal struggles that prompted deep reflection and self examination. This challenging season became a turning point. After reevaluating my past and carefully considering my future, I made the courageous decision to change direction and focus on myself wholeheartedly.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Eight years ago, I began a new walk in life, choosing to use my voice not only as a sound, but as a symbol of leadership, integrity, and purpose—leading by example in all that I do. I realized that becoming the best version of myself required stepping into an entirely new pair of shoes and embracing growth without fear. That renewed mindset transformed my path and unlocked gifts I had yet to fully explore. Today, my journey has evolved into entrepreneurship, where I stand confidently as a business owner—building, creating, and empowering others with the same determination, resilience, and faith that carried me through every obstacle along the way.

I am a skilled handywoman, with over 20 years experience in home improvement. While I have strong repar skills, my background in client service is what makes me different. I don’t just fix the issue; I make sure to walk the homeowner through the repair/or service, keep a clean workspace, and communicate clearly ensuring a a high customer satisfaction rate.
