Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
After 15 years as a corporate chef I found myself feeling very stagnant and unfulfilled. I was burned out from working 14-15 days straight, with a minimum of 90 hours a week! Needless to say, I was burned out. So I made the scary decision to end a career that I had known for so long and start something new! Merely for my mental and emotional security. It started off with cleaning houses and doing little handyman jobs for people, but then it progressed into cutting those client’s grass for them and so forth. Since the inception of this business we have experienced exceptional growth! From our humble beginnings we now do full kitchen and bathroom renovations, extensive drywall work from install to finishing and so much more. God has truly blessed this young black owned business to what it is today!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some of the struggles that I dealt with around year 5 was going through a divorce and having to start all over with my business. That was very difficult, but I was so blessed to have clients tostay on with me because of the relationship that I built with them as well as my work ethic and attention to detail.

What matters most to you?
Relationships matter most to me. Building a rapport with my clients ma’am everything to me. Because of those relationships, I have done very minimal advertising. Most of our business comes by way of word of mouth.
