Hidden Gems: Meet Braemon Wilson of Maple Digital Marketing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Braemon Wilson.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my entrepreneurial journey right before the pandemic doing wholesale real estate. I did that for a little over a year and transitioned to doing affiliate marketing after wholesaling became extremely too common. I went to college at Georgia state for marketing so it was a field I was comfortable in. Affiliate marketing is basically making the commercials for different companies that everyone skips on YouTube and then getting a commission when someone clicks on your ad and purchases the product. After I did that for some time and decided it was time to start my own brand. I decided to start my own digital marketing company to help companies bring in leads and build their brand’s image. It has been uphill from there.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, it was tough for the 75% of it because I was working a 9-5 so money was very tight. Managing working a job while trying to get my business off the ground was tough especially when the world is full of distractions.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My company works with mainly realtors and home service companies (painters, contractors, roofing companies etc.). We do everything from making sales funnels, SEO, and managing ad campaigns to setting up automated follow-up sequences and email/sms blast.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love Atlanta for the culture and the fact that you get a sense of hope here especially for people who move here from other states. I hate the traffic in Atlanta though so I plan on staying North.
