Candace Williams is the Executive Director of CBA Consulting. She has an extensive and varied professional career in the Real Estate, Insurance, Telecom, Human Services industries as well as Federal Grant Programs. Her work for multinational companies allowed her to gain experience in setting up companies around the world. Organizing efforts with International Law firms, offshore banks, and coordinating the legalization of documents as required. She has lived and studied throughout the USA, Italy and Japan. Candace is certified to work with individuals with disabilities in creating customized employment opportunities with both large and small businesses. She develops the unique strength of each client creating a specialized career opportunity. Additionally, she is a certified Line Therapist and applies this expertise in working with individuals with Autism and developmental disabilities. She is also a certified yoga and fitness instructor and customizes wellness plans to each person’s unique needs. She developed Gentle Yoga 4 Everyone a yoga program for people of All ages and All abilities including those with special needs and developmental disabilities to promote calm bodies and minds.
Candace is a Licensed Realtor experienced in Investment, Commercial and Residential properties. CBA Consulting is the only Minority and Female owned consulting business in Atlanta Metro providing full wrap-around services: Employment, Fitness, and Property ownership. This innovative business approach promotes diversity, inclusion and community growth. CBA Consulting gets people employed, helps improve their wellness and guides them to home ownership.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. I was able to parlay the challenge of being downsized from a Fortune 500 company(the week before Christmas) and lean on my skills and strengths. I moved with confidence and aptitude to set up my own business and become self-employed.
We’ve been impressed with CBA Consulting, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
CBA Consulting is a consulting firm specialing in Employment placements, Fitness/Wellness plans and Real Estate. Our Innovative business model sets us apart from the rest. I am most proud of helping people improve their lives through employment, health/wellness and homeownership. It’s so rewarding to witness how with the right support and guidance; a person’s life can be transformed for the better.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
As a child, I loved to play outside with friends. I would sometimes go blackberry picking. In the winter there was sledding in the Autumn we would rake up and jump in the leaves. Growing up on Long Island the beaches were where I spent most Summers. Great childhood memories of the outdoors with friends and family.
