Today we’d like to introduce you to Chanitra Shaw.
Hi Chanitra, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born and raised in Miami, FL (Liberty city). I started photography when I was 21 yrs old. I was working at Miami Seaquarium (Magic Memories) located in Miami, Fl. Capturing families, smiles and special moments with their loved ones is an amazing feeling. While working for Magic Memories, I decided to invest into photography equipment and make this my career. I love photography this has became my passion and I do not regret investing my time and learning new skills. I am thinking of relocating to Downtown Atlanta and a year or two for a new environment and connections that can take me to bigger levels. Today, I am currently traveling from state to state meeting new people and capturing beautiful moments. On this journey, I have meet great people. Maxine (Maximumxposuresfilms) who is my mentor and I’ve also meet Biz (byzzimedia). Next year, I do expect to reach a higher level and expect bigger doors to be open for me and my business partners.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Since I started this journey, it has honestly not been easy. Building clientele and having them trust you to fulfill their dreams photos is complicated but I never gave up. I always promoted free opportunities to build my clients.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about CTS_Vision?
CTS VISION is my company name. The CTS stands for Chanitra T Shaw. I have battling with multiple names that was just not right for me. I finally found the name for me and love it. I am the most humblest understanding person that any clientele can speak with. I am here for the clients. My photographer business caters to families, kids, events and much more.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is the achievement of desired visions and planned goals.
