Hi Courtney, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was inspired to do hair from watching my mom as a child. I always had a love for making women feel good about themselves by enhancing their beauty through their hair. I started braiding hair when I was 12 years old, determined to learn everything I can about the beauty industry. My love for hair turned into a lifelong career and salon ownership.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The road hasn’t been an easy one but it has been well worth it. Transitioning from business cards to social media has been an interesting journey to say the least.

Couture Hair Studio was created to provide a relaxing, positive and fun atmosphere for women, men and children. I am a Master Cosmetologist specializing in natural hair, hair growth and hair color. I am known for my custom color technique and my famous hair growth oil. I am most proud about the creativity I have developed through life which allows me to create art in the form of hair while maintaining hair that is vibrant and flourishing in growth. Aside from that, I have also created a hair care product line Coco Shanaes Hair Care Solutions LLC created to maintain the healthiness of the hair and scalp. Along with Couture Hair Camp teaching teens and preteens the importance of hair care and confidence of styling their own hair.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Always being willing to be a student and being able to share my gift with others has been the most important factors to my success.
