Hi CRYSTAL D, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in Los Angeles within a large family, where my fascination with spirituality and metaphysics began. My parents imbued me with values and knowledge of spirituality. Recognizing that my life experiences had a broader purpose beyond my personal growth, I immersed myself in personal development. Over time, I’ve learned to prioritize self-reflection and continuous learning, which have been essential in my ongoing journey of personal growth. This journey led me to embrace my calling to impact lives by guiding others through healing and transformation. My commitment to serving others fuels my mission to help them evolve into their fullest potential. I am now an award-winning author of the top-selling book ‘Reclaim Your Power: The Journey Back to Self,’ and I created The Ella Method—a coaching technique I use to help others achieve breakthroughs in various areas of life. Additionally, I started the Growth Mindset Mastery Coaching Program.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey has been far from smooth, filled with various challenges and obstacles that have tested my resilience and determination. As I embarked on my career as a coach and author, there were moments of uncertainty where I questioned whether I had the skills and knowledge to truly make a difference in people’s lives.
I soon realized that our experiences are not just for ourselves; someone will always be inspired by your story. Writing and publishing my book, “Reclaim Your Power: The Journey Back to Self,” was a labor-intensive process that challenged me to push past myself. It involved bouts of frustration, self-awareness and overcoming creative blocks. But I persevered because I knew my story would empower someone else. Ultimately, the effort was worth it, as sharing my journey has allowed me to connect with others on a deeper level and inspire them to reclaim their own power.
Building a sustainable coaching practice and establishing credibility in a competitive industry also posed challenges. Balancing the demands of entrepreneurship with personal life responsibilities required me to prioritize self-care and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Throughout these challenges, what kept me going was my passion for helping others and my deep belief in the value of personal development and empowerment. Each obstacle became an opportunity for growth and learning, strengthening my resolve and refining my approach as a coach and author. Overall, while the road has been challenging, every setback and difficulty has ultimately contributed to my growth and success. It has reinforced the importance of resilience, perseverance, and continuous learning in achieving personal and professional goals.
