Today we’d like to introduce you to Dan Lacasse.

Hi Dan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
In 2015 after embarking on a year-long road trip around the USA in our RV (Leroy), we felt it was time to return to society, and the workforce – but this time, on our own terms. Jenna with an incredibly creative eye for design, plus a background in corporate marketing, and Dan has spent years promoting and managing a variety of projects. It only made sense to combine our powers to help others bring vision and life to their business and passion – and to be honest, we’ve always been a power couple. It just made sense.

We quickly realized that graphic design and promotion ultimately came together in web design. We couldn’t help but notice that so many small businesses had ugly websites or pretty websites that just made no sense – what a tragedy! We set out to fix that problem. We took every Wix web design class, course, and training we could get our hands on. Before we knew it we were accepted into the Wix Partner Program, and Wix web design became our staple service.

Fast forward to today. A lot, I mean a lot has happened. Our business has grown, our services have grown, and our relationship has continued to grow (tied the knot in 2016). We’ve been lucky enough to pass our growth and expertise onto our clients. As we’ve helped hundreds of companies with their web design, graphic design, and marketing needs.

Since our humble beginnings, we have been lucky enough to take our business on the road, to the mountains, to the beach, and now to our home in Athens, GA. Our success is heavily credited to the simple concept of always delivering on what we say we will do and the greater good of the project.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
CONSTANT CHANGE
Web design trends and marketing strategies are constantly changing. Keeping up with these changes becomes a job in itself. You’ve really got to stay on it in order to best serve your clients.

CLIENT EDUCATION
Client education is definitely a hurdle as well. By that, I mean a lot of clients don’t really understand what they are asking for, what they need, or why certain items cost a specific price. Web design is a completely open market worldwide. A potential client might ask why a competitor (typically overseas) is giving them a quote 80% less than what I’ve quoted them. You’ve really got to educate some prospects on all the items that lead to an effective website that they can’t necessarily see. A successful website goes way beyond just design.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
It’s hard to say. As I mentioned before, the industry is changing rapidly, like literally by the month. A lot of changes have come with the development of AI and will continue to do so. Finding the right balance between AI and human touch is going to become increasingly important.
