Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Stephenson.

Hi Daniel, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I have been a paint contractor for over 35 years and during jobs after days of caulking I’d get splinters or sore fingers so I brainstormed and sat at my kitchen table and made a mold of my finger and that’s where The Caulking Finger originated

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would say as a small business our biggest struggle is getting exposure since it’s just me and my wife doing the sales, marketing, etc.

As part of being a painter and a perfectionist I was looking to solve a problem and that’s where The Caulking Finger originated from. Just like our motto says “ Why wear out your finger? Just use mine!” I think my faith in Jesus is what I want to be personally known for. Our company stands for Faith Will Move Mountains. FWMM.

How do you think about happiness?
Spending time with my family makes me happy. I also enjoy spending time in the woods hunting. I think true happiness and joy comes from the Lord.
