Today we’d like to introduce you to Delilah Burrowes.
Delilah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am a retired physician, and I retired early as a Neuroradiologist working at a major medical institution in Chicago. I retired early because I was dissatisfied with the current medical care that led me to seek alternatives. Earlier in my life just before entering medical school, I had an uncle who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, a cancer with one of the worst prognosis, typically about 3 month survival. He chose not to undergo the routine medical care of chemotherapy and took an alternative route. He survived a good 2 years by making necessary changes in his diet and changing his lifestyle. This was my introduction to alternative health.
Moving forward, after completingmy medical training and early in my career, I had some health challenges which started me on my journey for searching alternative means to help myself. I suffered from high blood pressure which was due to the stress of the job and a physician compounded by having to raise my children on my own, basically dealing with life circumstances many face today. I started my journey by focusing on my diet, became gluten free and I saw how this change made a difference in how I felt, my blood pressure improved allowing me to get off medication. I then started doing more research on my own and made more changes at home that not only affected me but also my children.
Then my father became ill suffering from Parkinson’s disease. I went to visit him and accompanied him on a doctor’s visit to a Neurology Parkinson’s specialist. I then shared with this specialist about some alternatives that I had read treating the disease which he then responded with the objection that there were no substantiated evidence to prove these methods work. The Parkinson’s specialist then proceeded to change my father’s medication and needless to say my father’s health deteriorated to the point of his passing about 1 year later.
These are a few stories that I have encountered along my journey and I just knew there must be a better way. So I took it upon myself to learn more about alternatives and my path led me to La’Ota Rassoull from Of The Sun who, long story short, introduced me into the world of Energy and the impact of how BioEnergetics has in our lives. As a student of LaOta, her teachings made such an impresssion in my life that I decided to buckle down and make some career changes. As a scientist, I learned how BioEnergy is a science, quantum physics, and is a component in health that is currently ignored by many. It is a root cause to many chronic issues people suffer today and I realized that sharing this information and my story could help so many in their healing journey helping to reverse the many chronic health problems we face today.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have been some challenges along the way taking this new career path, but I believe that I probably had to go through these experiences so that I would be able to understand the various systems that are in place when it comes to our health and wellbeing. The skepticism, the doubt, the fear the worry, many of us face is so prevalent today. I understand that as I have gone through all of it, I was able to learn and gain from these experiences. But, despite the challenges I faced, it has been a great journey for me because as I encounter various people, seeing them go through their own life experiences, I am able to empathize and help guide them through methods that have helped me. Life can be challenging sometimes, but it is how you think about them and how you deal with them is what is most important. I found that addressing the BioEnergetic aspect of our lives makes it a smoother ride as we move through our individual life journey. I continue to strive to be the example, striving to become more impeccable in my practices, so that others can see that they too can bring about a healthier balance in their lives.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My company is In La’Kesh Studio Two/ Ureha LLC. I am a certified as a NES Health practitioner and I perform BioEnergetic scans on my clients that detects a person’s multiple energy patterns. Each of us are made up of multiple energy fields such as the energy that runs our body physiology, the energy that we interact with our environment as well as the energy from our thoughts and feelings. Everything in this world is made up of energy. We live in a world with multiple energy fields. We cannot deny this. We have energies that run internally within our bodies, such as with our heart, our circulation, our nervous system and our hormonal responses. Then we have energies in our environment that we interact with on a daily basis, such as the earth’s magnetic pull and the earth’s negative charge, and even the various radio waves we are exposed to such as the Electrmagnetic Frequency Waves. Then there are the energies that we interact with our environment such as with the food that we eat, the energy we get from its nutrients, are we getting enough nutrients, are we taking in too much, are we properly hydrated, are there any toxins that we are being exposed to that we need to be made aware of. The BioEnergetic Scan also It looks at the energy strength and energy flow in our organs. It also looks at the energy flow in our thoughts and feelings. These multiple energy fields interact with one another making sure our bodies run appropriately. Our thoughts and feelings, for instance, play a significant role in our bodily functions and there is a connection between how we think and feel and how we manifest the physical challenges that we each experience.
Bottom line is that this scan measures over 300 energy fields which it looks for energy imbalances, distortions, delays and blocks that can contribute to one’s health. I help my clients to optimize their overall energy through balancing each of their energy fields assisting them in optimizing their health.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Many people are starting to seek alternative care. I recommend that people should become more open in helping to resolve their current health issues whether they are physical, mental, emotional, and even spiritual. Each and every one of us are part of a whole. There are many facets to each of us and each facet needs to be addressed in order to be healthy. We cannot just focus on one aspect of our lives and ignore the others. As we move through our lives we may find yourself dissatisfied with the way life is going for us. Each and every component in your lives are interconnected. If we can address each component, we will be happier for it. I just say be open to finding a mentor and/or people who resonate with your core beliefs; and this may be totally different from the way you were raised. There are many people and circumstances come into our lives every day. I say be open and receptive to those new possibilities that the Universe is presenting to you every day to live a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.
