Hi Destiny, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Dessyvmodelingbootcamp was originated in Atlanta, ga. After moving here in 2021 I began to do lots of fashion shows. Many people began to ask me for tips and advice during rehearsals and even at tryouts. Do I decided to create a bootcamp for individual that were interested in learning modeling techniques from me. I branched out and decided to host a fashion show of my own. It was very hard to accomplish! Although it wasn’t what I expected it was definitely a learning experience and it brought me to create my model troupe prime example! Current day Dessyvmodelingbootcamp is now being rebranded to become more so about modeling events such as but not limited to networking, workshops held by influential model coaches, lectures by developed models/designers and so on. In 2025 we will be presenting our 1st returning event as 2024 has been a year of reflection and rebranding
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This has been a challenge road! And it still is! As I continue to learn and experience different things I learn that very things are not for me! It’s so true what they say, you never know that you like something until you try it. Which is the cause of the rebranding! Although I love love love modeling! Teaching others and host fashion shows isn’t my strong suit as it takes lots of influential power to succeed! Which is a whole different process with in it self. This is why I will be focusing more so on the production of events and providing the opportunities/space for models to grow, learn and develop vs ordinary bootcamp classes

Dessyvmodelingbootcamp is a brand that focuses primarily on the development of models. What sets us apart from other model coordinators and brands is that we strive to provide opportunities and useful information while having fun! We pride ourselves in in not taking advantage of rising model while providing a platform for them to grow!
