Hidden Gems: Meet Dr. Braley Bourque of Insight Neuro LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Braley Bourque

Hi Dr. Braley, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Dr. Braley Bourque, and my journey has been anything but conventional. I’ve always been driven by a deep passion for serving others, and that calling led me into the world of healthcare, leadership, and business.

I started my path at Louisiana State University (LSU), where I earned my degree in Kinesiology and Human Movement. I was fascinated by the human body—how it moves, heals, and functions at its best.

In 2015, my life changed in an instant when I was in a motorcycle wreck that left me in a wheelchair for several months. It was one of the most challenging experiences I’ve ever faced, but it also became one of the most defining. During that time, I saw firsthand both the flaws and strengths of the medical industry—the way some providers truly cared, while others saw me as just another case. But more than anything, I was in awe of how strong and resilient the human body is when given the right care and support. That experience didn’t just test me—it led me to chiropractic, where I could be part of a profession that truly focuses on helping the body heal naturally, restoring function, and improving quality of life. That wreck could have been the thing that broke me, but instead, it became the catalyst that shaped my purpose.

That passion led me to Life University in 2019. I completed my Doctor of Chiropractic, ready to make an impact.

I started my career in corporate healthcare, but I quickly realized that I wasn’t meant to be confined to a system where decisions were often made based on profits rather than what’s best for the patient. After a year, I took a leap of faith and stepped into executive leadership, becoming the CEO of five clinics with over 35 affiliate locations and managing a team of more than 50 employees. It was a crash course in business, leadership, and resilience—and it proved to me that I was capable of much more than I had ever imagined.

But I didn’t just want to run clinics—I wanted to change the way healthcare worked, especially in personal injury and brain trauma cases. That’s why I am the CEO and Managing Partner of Insight Neuro, a company focused on traumatic brain injury (TBI) diagnostics and concussion protocols for personal injury cases. Through Insight Neuro, I work with chiropractors, medical doctors, and legal teams to ensure that patients receive accurate diagnoses and the care they need. It’s more than just business—it’s about advocating for those who might otherwise be overlooked and making sure patient care is never compromised.

Beyond healthcare, I’ve always had a deep passion for empowering women in leadership. I know what it’s like to be underestimated, overlooked, and judged—but I also know that women are powerful, capable, and deserving of a seat at the table. I’ve had the privilege of sharing my story on stage with John Maxwell, Gary Brecka, and other industry leaders, and I’ve spoken at women’s conferences across the country, inspiring others to break barriers in male-dominated industries.

My journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve had to fight for my place in rooms where I wasn’t always welcomed. But I’ve learned that success isn’t about waiting for permission—it’s about creating your own opportunities. I am proof that women can lead, build empires, and redefine industries on their own terms.

At the heart of everything I do—whether it’s running a business, mentoring women, or advocating for better healthcare—I lead with compassion, strength, and a relentless drive to serve. Because at the end of the day, true success isn’t just about what we build, but about how we lift others along the way.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My motorcycle wreck in 2015

Bad management at my corporate job. Being under estimated, overlooked, and disrespected in the industry because of my age and gender.

Moving to Georgia at 22 years old with no help and no job for grad school. Very lonely time. I learned a lot about embracing being alone and working in silence.

Getting pregnant my first year with my company

Navigating being a step mom, fiance, and newly pregnant mom within two years of graduating Grad school.
