Hidden Gems: Meet Drew Greenblatt of ATL ClearView

Today we’d like to introduce you to Drew Greenblatt.

Hi Drew, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I graduated with my Neuroscience degree in 2021 and instead of going into the field, I took the opportunity to open up this business here in Atlanta. I grew up in East Cobb and went to Pope High School. I went to Centre College and I played NCAA Men’s Lacrosse there. ATL ClearView is about 14 months old now but the amount of work we are doing has only grown exponentially. We do the retractable screening products year round and come the holidays, we do Christmas or Holiday lights as well!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been some challenges. My high school lacrosse coach for a lack of better terms bullied me and kept me off the team for years. Despite him, I managed to pursue my childhood dream of playing College Lacrosse. Aside from that overall, I am very blessed and have lived a great life.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We have a very specific niche. We specialize is all things retractable screens. Including, Retractable Screen Doors, Retractable Motorized Shades (exterior & interior), and Motorized Awnings. We do the retractable screening products year round and come Xmas time to do professional holiday light installation.

The Clearview Brand is the only brand 100% made in the U.S.A. and has the longest warranties in the industry; and that’s for all of the products! The ClearView retractable screen door has patented technology that keeps the aluminum from slamming together while still enabling the screen to put itself away. Customers utilize our products to enclose patios, porches, garages, etc. The problems we solve are of course keeping bugs out and also creating shade or privacy with our screens.

What we are most proud of is leaving 100% of our customers satisfied and providing the lifetime warranty to ensure a customer will never have to replace any screening products down the line.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Be aggressive about it. You will never get what you don’t ask for. Also on a more realistic hard advice. Choose an activity with a high cost of entry. Like golf, or for me it was lacrosse. These activities are usually only done by people who are successful and have money to spend on golf. So one could join a high-end golf club, spend time at the club and make associates and potentially find themselves with someone who could be a mentor or could help get a business off the ground.
