Today we’d like to introduce you to Emoni Davis.
Hi Emoni, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have been a part of corporate America for 23 years of my life. I faced many struggles in the beginning because I was shy and was scared to speak loud. In the working world I got use to the normal. I would get up the same time, get dressed, and head to work day after day. I knew it was something more to my life but just didn’t know what that more was. My purpose would show up often and I never recognized it because being blind is real thing. Years later I grew bolder and purposeful, I stepped out into the industry of “Network Marketing” and then discovered my love for travel. What people don’t realize about Network Marketing is that it’s used often to build corporations. That industry has been around since the 1920s or even earlier. Because it’s a successful way for people to live in abundance, I believe a lie had to be told that Network Marketing is a scam or pyramid scheme so that people wouldn’t rely on rapid success. I have learned that being part of an industry such as Network Marketing can be a vehicle to whatever success you want to achieve. We are a world that rely on each other for everything to go around. It’s purposed filled that shifts take place so that each individual will be fulfilled. Because I stepped out on faith and gravitated to a system (save, your, self, time, energy, money) is why I’m building my own travel agency. Etravels Everywhere LLC came from a southern girl who went to Hawaii for the first time and discovered paradise back in 1995. Ever since I’ve become a world traveler and experienced different cultures. My goal is to help everyday people like myself create memories they will always remember.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My challenges was me being in the way of myself and listening to people who had no clue. When you have an idea about something the best advice is to find others that are in that similar field and grow from them. I have stumbled many times and always continued to keep pushing. It is not easy at first because I was programmed for many years to be a worker. Being a CEO takes creativity and having a great system and strategy in place.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My goal is to give my customers an overall experience without the headaches of worrying. I specialize in group events and destination weddings. All are welcome to an Etravels Everywhere experience.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I’m creative by heart and anything I see visually I can draw. I wanted to be in the fashion design industry growing up. Never know… I may shift in that area later! Stay tuned!
