Hi Fifi, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Empowering people to empower yourself is my motto….
Hi my name is Josefina (Fifi) Pernett,
I was born and raised in Mexico.
Since I remember,, I always have been studying and sharing what I know with people.
Before I moved to the US, I worked for the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), was a College profesor for 17 years and had my own business.
12 years ago along with my family decided that we were moving to the US, because of my husband’s job.
Back then our kids were very young and my husband traveled almost every other day.
Still, we grabbed the “bull by the horns” and moved to Atlanta.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
They say there is no reward if you don’t complete your challenges right?
Well,
Just two days after I moved to the US, my dear dad passed away, we were super close and that event hit my life as anything before, I got depressed, surrounded by boxes from a huge moving, without been able to stay with my mom and brother, and not knowing a single person in a totally different country.
At that time I couldn’t work because of my paperwork so I decided that I was going to come out from my depression by myself without even medication.
I started painting, swimming and practicing yoga and it helped a ton.
But I missed so much working, teaching and keeping up with my personal growth that I promised myself there was not going to pass another day in my life without earning money by myself.
So,
While I was waiting for my papers to be ready I started tutoring in Spanish, giving painting classes, selling different type of dishes I love to prepare and volunteering in different places and ong’s.
Little by little I was recovering parts of my life that were gone for a while and I was able to beat depression and started focusing on my future.
I knew that if I was ok, my family was going to be happy.
And family has been always my priority.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’ve always been working for the people. To support them and help them in different ways.

And when I finally got my documents I immediately started working as teacher, also working at the National Down Syndrome Congress, and doing legal translations.
When COVID hit, I lost all the sources of income as most of the people and even though my husband has always provided, he knows how independent I am and how important it has always been for me.
It was during that time, that I decided to become part of Thermomix USA, it was a direct sales job, in the 4th largest DS company worldwide and I was starting during Covid so my expectations were not the highest.
Still, with passion and determination I got promoted as GA Teamleader after just 3 months of having started my job as independent consultant.
Five years later here I am, leading one of the most successful teams in Thermomix North America and proudly sharing our amazing business opportunity and the best multi-appliance in the world in GA,LA,AL,MS and TN.
I love to travel and this company has allowed me and my team to travel around the USA and the world with the best trips you can imagine.
But the thing that I love the most about my job has been earning the best chosen community out of my family.
I’’m empowered and when you feel empowered, you become unstoppable and that is something that I would love for everyone to experience at some point of their lives.
