Hi Ivery, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started Envy By Ivery in 2018. I have always had an eye for clothing. In college, I was always the one my friends would come to when it’s time to go out and pick something to wear. I loved their reactions to the outfits I picked out for them and how it made them feel confident. 2019 I really took my business serious and hit the ground running with my online boutique.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I faced a lot of obstacles in the beginning. I really didn’t have any help or guidance in this business, so everything was a learning moment for me. From finding the right vendors to models, getting a website published, it all was a struggle at first. I took my mistake, learned from them, took classes webinars and other networking Events to help become a better business owner.
We’ve been impressed with Envy By Ivery, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Envy by Ivery is a clothing brand in Birmingham AL. We specialize in making all women feel and look beautiful, fly & sexy. Our goal at Envy By Ivery is to have everyone feel like a baddie.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10, the woman’s clothing industry is still going to be growing and booming. A lot of old trends and clothing pieces will definitely make their way back around.
