Today we’d like to introduce you to Jateya Jones.
Hi Jateya, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started the business to help the younger version of myself; a Multipassionate entrepreneur with a heart to guide others in making their dreams come true. However, I had no idea of where to start. I was truly in need of clarity on how to do things and in a scalable way. Today, I am a multi-hyphenate entrepreneur who runs several businesses succinctly and successfully all because I mastered one very important trait: clarity.
Being a multi-passionate, I understand our thought process and desire to provide a nonjudgmental, safe space for others to share their visions; while also equipping them with the tools and techniques to communicate with clarity. I’m blessed to share my method I developed along my journey to clarity with other purpose-driven Multipassionate Entrepreneurs.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely was a bumpy road! As a multi-passionate, you are surrounded by people who encourage you to not be you. Not always intentionally, they make you feel like your goals, thoughts, methods, etc., are absurd. It’s extremely discouraging and takes tenacity to press on despite the external naysayers and your internal whispers of doubt that are super loud though no one else can hear them but you.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
As a Strategy and Communication consultant, I blaze paths for Multipassionate entrepreneurs to clearly articulate WHO they are and WHAT they do so that they can gain the confidence and courage needed to embrace their uniqueness. By identifying the common thread among their many passions, it’s easier to help them transform their vision into reality. I love guiding them in strategically curating a custom Plan to W.I.N. ensuring they have a clear path toward purpose.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I love networking and would love to remove the stigma for others. Networking is truly a lifestyle, not just an event. In order to embody it as a lifestyle, you must know your W.I.N. W.I.N. is an acronym for What I Need, Who I Need, and Why I Need. When you know these elements in reference to any goal, you can elevate your interaction from having diarrhea of the mouth with an elevator pitch to more of a natural conversation style. Communicating with clarity is key to success for anyone, but especially for Multipassionates.
