Today we’d like to introduce you to Javier Gary.
Hi Javier, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Well… where do I begin? Ever since I was a little boy, I was fascinated by the outdoors!
My Dad put a camera in my hand at 12 years old, and from that moment on… I started capturing birds, leafs, anything I could adjust the focus on!
Fast forward through life, I learned a lot from my father about the camera; he helped me start my business and begin my artistic journey! So, I didn’t stop there…
I have now photographed Gucci Mane in concert, a Hotboy Turk Studio photo session, Domani, Omeretta (in Concert), and I’ve also photographed Rickey Thompson in NYC, City Morgue (Zilla Kami & Sos Mula)!
To add, don’t ever stop pushing; I’ve continued to believe in myself and what my brand strives to provide! I now photograph weddings, studio headshots, products & more!
I also attended Nossi college of Art for 1-1/2years but I still kept going on my art!
I also did a Cheetos Creative shot (just to have fun), and it’s reposted on their page!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I think the biggest struggle would be support from others that you know… once you get PAST THAT… you’ll be fine!
But, no, it’s not smooth, and I wouldn’t change it.
