Hi Jihan, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
For over a decade, our parent company Wonderlust Events & Floral Design has been orchestrating and adorning intimate weddings and special occasions across Metro-Atlanta. While pursuing a degree in History at The University of Georgia, I furthered my love and understanding of culture, environment, and high society.
Growing up, I was always drawn to elements of culture and social life. I was the kid who wanted the newest edition of Better Homes and Gardens, Coastal Living, and Bride Magazine. Over time, I have learned that design and flowers, like people, have personality and establish a presence in the world at large.
My love for the University and all things luxurious drew me back to the Classic City to curate a unique bed & breakfast experience that takes Southern Hospitality to the next level. I look forward to welcoming you to Lavender Hill Bed & Breakfast.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t been smooth, but God has always provided provision, direction, and guidance. Funding the acquisition of a hotel by myself (with the help of my sister and close friends and family) was the most difficult thing I’ve ever done. I’ve sacrificed a lot to bring this dream to fruition, but I know it will all be worth it.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love the glamour and style of the A! Whether you’re into architecture, clothing or any other expressive medium, Atlanta is sure to have something to tickle your fancy.
Though I love my dual residency status—between the Big A and the Lil A, the traffic here in Atlanta can be frustrating at times. Athens is definitely easier to traverse as long as it’s not a game day.
