Today we’d like to introduce you to Kace Vereen.
Hi Kace, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
To put it simply, I started from the bottom. You know the broke college student story, yea that was me. I went to Georgia State on and off before deciding to officially put my education on pause in order to focus on my passion for personal training and investing. To be where I’m at definitely wasn’t a part of the plan, by now, I thought I’d be working in some physical therapy office or something. The reason I was on and off at GSU was because after my first year, I lost my HOPE scholarship, so I couldn’t afford to pay for the next semester. So in the time, I wasn’t in school. I was working at QuikTrip and personal training on the side.
During this time of my life, I really learned how to hustle and got a clear understanding of how money works through a lot of painful lessons. I came up with my brand Be Undeniably Great, one day while reflecting on my own life and everything I’ve went through. No matter how hard things got, I never lost track of the vision of success. The trial and tribulations only pushed me to go harder and those feelings manifested into reality. The feeling to be undeniably great turned into a movement to empower everyone to be the best at whatever they do!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
To only be 22, I feel like I’ve dealt with it all car repo, car accidents, jail, being broke, you name it. I’ve probably dealt with it. The road to be where I’m at today has been about as smooth as a gravel road. But I regret nothing, all the pressure made a diamond and now I’m shinning. I’m thankful for everything I’ve been through in life because it’s taught me priceless lessons that I could never get in a classroom. I’m able to give advice to people that will go/are going through similar situations to the ones I’ve been in. I feel like I’ve been through the worst of it, and it should be smooth sailing from here, but life is unpredictable, so I’m ready for whatever comes my way!
We’ve been impressed with Be Undeniably Great, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
So outside of BUG I am a personal trainer and an active investor in crypto/stocks. I’ve been personal training for four years now, and I get so much satisfaction from being able to help so many people transform their life and health! When you love what you do it doesn’t feel like a job or a means to get by, it feels like an honor. I’ve been an investor since March 2020, and since then, how I view the world and money has changed drastically for the good.
I have been so blessed to have the ability to learn all that I have and help others on their journey as well. It amazes me that financial literacy isn’t a subject in school. There’s so much that the education system doesn’t teach us that makes us unprepared for things in life. I care so much about physical, mental, and financial wellness because I’ve had to learn so many lessons on my own that I wish someone would’ve told me. That’s the main reason for BUG. It’s a brand that’s here to promote physical, mental, and financial health in everyone. I couldn’t think of any other brand that puts emphasis on all three of those so I made my own. All I want is to see everyone Be Undeniably Great!
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I would like to shout out my Mother, who is the physical embodiment of this movement. She raised me on two important principles: accountability & initiative. These principles laid the framework out for the man that I am today. As a Black woman and the main provider for her two boys, her hustle and grind set the tone for the rest of my life. She showed me that no matter how hard it gets, there is a way out! She proved that no matter how many people doubt you, if focus on you and what is important to you that you will become Undeniably Great! She is so humble, kind, and strong. What she’s been through isn’t a reflection of who she is. She’s truly a beautiful person inside and out. I wouldn’t be where I am without her example. Shout out my Mom, I love you.
