Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaityre Pinder.
Kaityre, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I moved to Atlanta with plans to pursue Physical Therapy school, rooted in a lifelong interest in health, movement, and the body. Along the way, I realized my deeper passion wasn’t just rehabilitation—it was people, especially young people. I felt called to serve, mentor, and create spaces where youth could feel supported, confident, and seen. That realization shifted the course of my career.
I spent over a decade working in youth development and nonprofit leadership, designing and leading programs for organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs and Girls on the Run. That work taught me how to build meaningful programs, lead teams, engage families, and create experiences that were both impactful and joyful. It also shaped how I think about access, equity, and the importance of meeting people where they are.
My work eventually expanded into experiential marketing and community engagement through The Black Hair Experience, where I helped celebrate Black women and girls through culturally grounded programming and brand partnerships. I supported CSR efforts and led community engagement initiatives alongside brands like Dove, Nickelodeon, Hulu, Dark & Lovely, and others. That chapter strengthened my ability to bridge corporate resources with authentic community impact—while keeping culture, care, and storytelling at the center.
In 2023, my life changed dramatically. Within a 90-day period, I lost my mother suddenly to cancer and lost a job I deeply loved. It was a level of grief and disruption I could never have prepared for—but somehow, my mother had prepared me. I took intentional time to rest, grieve, and listen. When I returned to work, I joined the YMCA of Metro Atlanta, where I led social impact strategy and produced large-scale corporate volunteer experiences for partners like Delta, Bank of America, Deloitte, Gas South, and Carter’s. That season reaffirmed my purpose and reminded me of the power of community, service, and collective care.
As I approached one year without my mami, I felt God place something specific on my heart: to do something meaningful for the women of Bimini, my mother’s home and my family’s roots. That calling led to Give Her Her Flowers, an experience inspired by an event my mother once helped plan to honor women in their 80s and 90s. We reimagined it to honor women of all ages who are making an impact, while also offering education and resources around wellness and self-care.
During the planning process, we interviewed the women being honored—each nominated by the community. One theme was consistent: these women were carrying their families and the island on their backs. They rarely rested. They rarely put themselves first. And many lacked access to the wellness resources I had grown accustomed to in cities like Atlanta. They wanted this experience to continue year after year—but I knew celebration alone wasn’t enough. If we truly wanted to honor these women long-term, we had to support their health and longevity.
I lost my mother far too young. She was deeply loved, a community figure who poured into everyone—but like so many women, she didn’t always prioritize her own health. That truth became the foundation of Bloom House Impact.
Bloom House is a retreat-style wellness experience designed to feel like home—safe, warm, and culturally grounded. It creates space for conversations around health, nutrition, mental health, rest, and preventative care to feel accessible and comfortable. We hosted our first Bloom House in April 2025, and it affirmed everything I felt called to build.
Today, Bloom House Impact is expanding. We are working to bring Bloom House experiences to Atlanta and Miami as a way to fund and sustain our next retreat in Bimini in 2026—a free, multi-day wellness experience for the women of the island.
Every road I’ve traveled—youth development, nonprofit leadership, experiential marketing, corporate social impact, and personal loss—has led me here. Bloom House is where my skills, my grief, my faith, and my purpose meet. It’s the work I believe I was always being prepared for, and the way I continue my mother’s legacy by helping women live longer, healthier, and more supported lives.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road, and I don’t think it’s supposed to be. Grief has been one of the biggest challenges—not just for me, but for our team as well. We are all working full-time jobs while building Bloom House, and loss and life transitions are very real in our collective experience. Carrying a vision while actively navigating grief can make planning feel inconsistent at times, which pushed us to build stronger processes, clearer systems, and a team culture rooted in grace and flexibility. That structure is what keeps Bloom House moving forward even when things feel heavy.
Logistically, building something rooted in Bimini while living in Atlanta comes with real challenges. Travel to and from the island, shipping, and overall costs add up quickly, and access isn’t always simple. Much of our work is currently powered by volunteers and community support, which I’m deeply grateful for, but it also requires thoughtful coordination and care.
Another ongoing challenge is scale. The need in the community is significant, and our ideas are ambitious. Securing aligned partnerships, sustainable funding, and long-term resources can feel challenging at times—especially when the vision is clear but capacity is still growing. Still, we show up, we adapt, and we make it happen.
What grounds me is the reminder that meaningful work takes time. Every lesson, delay, and adjustment has strengthened our foundation. Bloom House is growing intentionally, and I trust that what’s built with care will last.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Bloom & Create Solutions ?
Bloom & Create Solutions is a social impact and engagement consultancy rooted in strategy, creativity, and care. It was born from my lived experience navigating organizations and systems that weren’t always set up to support young, curious professionals—especially Black women. At its core, Bloom & Create is a love letter to the blooming professional I once was. Despite the challenges, I chose to bloom anyway—and to create solutions where there were gaps.
Through Bloom & Create Solutions, I help organizations, brands, and nonprofits design meaningful experiences that connect people to purpose. I specialize in community engagement strategy, corporate social impact, experiential events, partnership development, and program design. Much of my work supports teams and leaders by bridging mission and execution—turning big ideas into thoughtful, well-run experiences that truly serve the people they’re intended for.
What sets me apart is how I show up. I lead with intention, go above and beyond, and approach every project with a solutions-first mindset. I don’t stop at “no”—I look for what can be done. I’m known for thinking creatively, asking the right questions, and bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to complex ideas.
I’m especially proud of my ability to turn vision into action. Clients don’t just get ideas—they get systems, strategy, and execution that feels aligned, thoughtful, and human. Bloom & Create Solutions is for organizations that want more than a consultant; it’s for those seeking a partner who will treat their mission with care, creativity, and accountability.
At the heart of the brand is a simple belief: even in imperfect systems, we can still bloom—and we can always create solutions.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
One thing I’d love readers to know is that this work is deeply human to me. Bloom House Impact and Bloom & Create Solutions are not just professional projects—they’re extensions of my lived experience, my faith, and my commitment to building spaces where people, especially Black women, feel supported, seen, and cared for.
I believe rest, wellness, and community are not luxuries—they’re necessities. Whether I’m producing a wellness retreat, designing a community engagement strategy, or supporting an organization’s impact goals, my intention is always the same: to create experiences that feel thoughtful, accessible, and rooted in care.
I’m also learning to honor the pace of the work. Growth doesn’t always happen overnight, and meaningful impact takes time. I’m proud of what’s been built so far, and I’m excited about what’s ahead—expanding Bloom House, deepening partnerships, and continuing to create solutions that help people bloom where they are.
If there’s one thing I hope readers take away, it’s this: you don’t have to have it all figured out to move forward. Lead with intention, trust the process, and give yourself permission to bloom.
