Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly Benning.
Hi Kelly, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a queer femme writer, energy worker, and creatrix who is passionate about individual and collective transformation, including the cycles of death and rebirth that assist us in that process.
In service of this work, I have completed certification as a Tantric Practitioner through the Urban Tantra® Professional Training Program and as a Reiki Master through the Usui Reiki System of Natural Healing. I have also completed certification in Mental Health First Aid. Following my completion of Circle Leader Training through the Wild Woman Project®, I implemented the first queer- and trans-affirming New Moon Circles affiliated with the project in the southeast. I bring more than a decade of experience with somatic movement practices, including yoga, and more than five years of experience working with individual clients and groups to facilitate intention setting using modalities such as tarot, storytelling, breath work, visualization, energy work, tantra, ritual, and engagement with the elements. In addition, in 2023, I will be completing my training in Human Design with Erin Claire Jones through the Blueprint Pro program to further expand my offerings.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Once upon a time, I decided to ask the questions I knew I “shouldn’t” ask. The questions that would change everything. It was like falling down the rabbit hole in Alice in Wonderland. I wasn’t quite sure where the bottom would be (and honestly, I’ve not found it yet). What I have found is freedom, authenticity, and space to stretch into all of the delicious corners of my expansive heart. It is messy and gorgeous. It is non-linear. It is full of big love and deep connection.
So many of us have tried to fit ourselves into boxes to please others. So many of us have hidden vital parts of ourselves to feel a sense of safety or belonging. So many of us feel trapped by external messages about who we should be and what we should do. Beneath all of the layers imposed by outside influences, our most authentic selves are waiting excitedly to be uncovered.
It is my passion and joy to hold space for others as they delve into their own beautiful unfolding, to walk beside them as they see into their heart of hearts, to witness the awakening of their truth. Interconnectedness is the antidote.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am a true cultivator of connection who knows the power of feeling seen and supported through periods of transition, as well as the freedom and authenticity we can find on the other side. My training and background enable me to offer a wide array of customized services to my clients – – from tarot readings to reiki energy work sessions, to tantra and sacred sexuality workshops, to one-on-one coaching, to local and international retreats. All of my offerings are lovingly curated to support folks exactly where they find themselves in their process of embodying their unique and magical self.

For potential coaching clients, I offer a free initial, informal consultation, usually in a cozy coffee shop or a shady park, just so we can get to know one another and see what feels aligned. I do not offer pre-scripted, generic coaching packages like so many others. Every coaching relationship is individual, and what we craft is unique. I want to meet my clients exactly where they are and offer highly customized services that truly support them in their journey. I prioritize my services to folks that have historically been barred from, or felt a lack of belonging in, traditional spiritual and wellness spaces. This includes people who are queer, trans, polyamorous/ENM, and/or kinky.
Pricing:
- Reiki/Energy Work Sessions: $100 for 60 minutes, $120 for 90 minutes (with need-based, discounted sessions available for QTPOC, LGBTQIA, and other folks who have been historically barred from traditional wellness/spiritual spaces)
- Single Card and Four-Card Virtual Tarot/Oracle Readings: $11 and $33 respectively
- In-Person Tarot Readings: $100 for 60 minutes, $120 for 90 minutes (with need-based, discounted sessions available for QTPOC, LGBTQIA, and other folks who have been historically barred from traditional wellness/spiritual spaces)
