Hi Khushi, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
XVI was born from my passion for skincare and my belief that beauty should be both intentional and effective. Growing up, I was always fascinated by holistic wellness—how simple yet powerful ingredients, when used thoughtfully, could transform skin health. But as I explored the skincare industry, I noticed a gap: too many products were either overly complicated, filled with unnecessary ingredients, or didn’t align with the deeper connection I wanted people to have with their routines.

That’s what led me to create XVI—a brand that blends time-honored rituals with modern skincare science, focusing on high-quality formulations that nourish the skin while encouraging mindful self-care. From the beginning, my goal has been to make skincare more than just a routine—it should be a moment of pause, a way to reconnect with yourself.

The journey of building XVI has been both exciting and challenging. Entrepreneurship comes with its hurdles, but every step—developing our first product, hearing customer feedback, and growing a community that believes in what we’re creating—has reinforced my passion for this brand. Today, XVI is more than just skincare; it’s a reflection of my commitment to authenticity, quality, and self-care that truly makes a difference.

The journey of building XVI has been anything but a straight path—it’s been filled with learning curves, unexpected challenges, and moments of self-doubt. When starting a skincare brand, you quickly realize that having a great product isn’t enough; there are so many moving parts—manufacturing, branding, marketing, and customer education—all of which require careful attention.

One of the biggest challenges was navigating the complexities of product development. I was committed to using high-quality ingredients and ensuring that every formulation aligned with XVI’s philosophy, but finding the right partners who shared that vision took time. There were moments when things didn’t go as planned—delays, reformulations, and the constant pressure to meet high standards while staying true to my values.
