Today we’d like to introduce you to Latina Sabb.
Hi Latina, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a country girl from a small town called Allendale, South Carolina. At age nine, I moved to Savannah, Georgia where I graduated high school and joined the military. I always desired to become an entrepreneur but I traveled the path of least resistance. After ten years of service, I continue my career with the federal government. After multiple attempts to launch my nonprofit and t-shirt company, I finally found my market. In 2022 I established Sabbatine Financial Group to provide tax preparation and tax debt resolution services. I help taxpayers reduce and/or eliminate debt, interest, penalties and establish agreements to get them in good standing with the IRS. In partnership with Alleviation, we will launching a training academy to expand education to Tax Professionals with mentorship to open their own Tax Debt Business.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not. It has been a journey. My garage is full of start-ups. One of my biggest challenges is understanding the difference between a good idea and a good solution. As a market trader, I decided to launch a t-shirt company so we can have apparel that spoke to who we are and what we do. Based on my research there was little to no competition. I never asked my network of traders for their opinion. Instead, I spend hundreds of dollars for months for an ads manager and Facebook ads to tell me my good idea was not what traders want. Another was being afraid to speak on my business. I would hide behind a post because I was afraid and uncomfortable going “live” and sharing my business. I am taking my business serious and understand I provide a service that someone needs. It is my duty to share what I do to help others. Another challenging obstacle was confidence. You have to be confident in who you are what you do. Even further you have to be confident in what you CAN in order to attract opportunities.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Sabbatine Financial Group has three foundations: tax preparation, tax debt resolution and whole-life planning. We educate our tax clients to maximize their earnings through qualifying credits and deductions. For those overwhelmed with IRS tax debt, we conduct a financial anaylsis and identify options to bring them in good standing with the IRS. We also work with agents to structure life insurance that provides living benefits to individuals and businesses that are interested in becoming their own bank.
My service comes from experience and my pain point. I know the stress of getting letters and owing thousands of dollars in taxes. I’ve been on a payment plan wondering when will I ever pay this off. We are in the business of helping others without judgment. .
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
We are partnering with other tax professionals to offer education and training for those interested in building a debt resolution business of their own. We will also working with other professionals to provide education contact on social media platforms so stay tuned in.
