Hidden Gems: Meet Lex Perry of Lex P Enterprise

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lex Perry.

Hi Lex, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Lex Perry and I’m 24yr old Entrepreneur; clothing brand owner. I started off doing custom shoes and baseball caps. I always liked to get dressed and make ”swag” things that are one of one. Others began to like them too..

After a year or two, I started looking into better ways and more lucrative ideas in my area of interest.

Starting off in ALIQUIPPA PA, helped me the most. It’s where my brand today stems from. In the community, there would be pop-up shops which let me get in front of people and explain what I have to offer.

It’s a continuous uphill climb but the love for it keeps me interested.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a “smooth” road but it hasn’t been “bad” neither. I think you just have to take the risks, good risks. If you have such an idea as to start something, putting your all behind it kind of rids the thought of anything smooth.

I like to refer to them as “issues.” So, my best issue today is the legalities of everything. Making sure everything is the way Uncle Sam needs it to be. Going out and actually getting the information myself because I need it.

As you know, we’re big fans of Lex P Enterprise LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My legal enterprise is self-explanatory really. It’s an enterprise, which means I’ll have multiple entities under this like an umbrella. I’m thinking of longevity, long-term ownership. Anything I decide to do such as real estate, nonprofits, and etc. are all a part of this enterprise.

The thing that set me apart from others is my willingness to learn and eagerness to perform.

I’m most proud of my brand being a brand. That’s it. I’m so grateful to have supporters and people I can connect with to reach these new heights. None of this would happen without support. I’m proud of that.

I want everyone to know that I’m a “work in progress.” Is that how you say that? But really, I’m determined to succeed and focused on improving.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
My view on risk-taking is like my view right now looking. How would you be “willing” to get rich with out taking any risk? This is your bread and butter 10 times out of 10. NOT saying you will get the exact results you want, nor instant gratification. But, if you’re betting on yourself like you are then you should have full steam behind that risk. Which means; DO IT!

I think every time I drop clothes at this smaller level I’m taking a risk. This risk would be finically, of course. Use your audience, your circle, books, and other resources to educate yourself and get familiar with your outcomes. That’s all I do. That’s all you can really do if you ask me.
