Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
After years of creating vision boards, I learned that aside from using this wonderful tool, I needed a plan to accompany my vision and that’s when I began to journal.
I got really serious about writing down my goals and exploring all of the dreams and visions I had placed on my vision board and even the things I had in my head that I had never written down.
Through my journaling I created a success formula, my 3D formula. Dreams+Discipline+Drive= Destiny. This formula is a culmination of all of the elements that helped me create personal success. Creating this formula has been a game changer for me.
Experiencing personal and professional success with my 3D formula inspired me to think of ways that I could share with others. This led to me create my guided goal setting journal, the Get It™ journal. The journal provides a blueprint to reach your potential and achieve your goals.
As a passionate leader with more than 20 years of corporate coaching and development experience, I recognized that my purpose was to coach individuals to create a plan that will help them make their dreams come true. My passion for helping others motivated me to launch my consulting business. As the Founder and CEO of JMC Career Solutions & Consulting, LLC. I coach women entrepreneurs, mid-level professionals, and millennials on how to set and crush their goals.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Balancing a full-time job, prioritizing my personal and professional goals, coaching my clients to be the best they can be, along with being available for my family and loved ones can sometimes be a juggling act but I would not change it for the world. My faith keeps me grounded.
