Marisha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m a mompreneur of two beautiful girls and the owner of Quality Time Collection. The vision for Quality Time Collection came to me after reading a research article discussing how children who do not have strong bonds with their parents are more likely to become involved in risky, antisocial behaviors, including aggression and delinquency, unsafe sexual relationships and teen pregnancy and tobacco and illegal drug use. Working full-time as an Optometrist and focused on creating a legacy for my girls, I know how hectic every day can become. Managing adult responsibilities, children’s activities and making sure your children are receiving adequate one on one time can become overwhelming. This research really helped me realize how important it is to optimize the time we have together. Through this mindset shift, my family developed a love for activity workbooks and board games. At Quality Time Collection, we help you make the most out of the smallest moments in your day. Our activities are non-digital to allow you the opportunity to relax and be fully present during your quality time.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Most of my struggles have been internal. In a world where everyone is constantly on digital devices, I have to continue to trust the vision for Quality Time Collection that God has given me. I truly believe in the mission of using non-digital activities to strengthen the mother-child relationship and the impact that will have on children’s lives and ultimately society. I am frequently drawn to a quote by Charles Raison which says, “One generation of deeply loving parents would change the brain of the next generation, and with that, the world.”

Here at Quality Time Collection, we help working mamas find fun and non-digital ways to bond with their kiddos through our activities and accessories. Our activities are non-digital to allow you the opportunity to relax and be fully present during your quality time. We offer coloring books with a monthly prayer to provide hope and encouragement. Images are duplicates so they can be colored together while conversing with your little. Our card game allows you to spend time together enjoying classic children’s card games with a multicultural twist.
We understand the focus on creating a legacy for your children, which is why our activities can be completed in a short or extended period based on your personal preference. My favorite childhood memory is going Christmas shopping on Black Friday with my mom and two sisters.
